I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> Okay. Um, we are going to approve the claims for November of 2025. And I did have a chance to go in before the meeting and I talked to Britain about some of the claims to the other school districts. Those are our enrollment >> payments that we have to make for the kids that are living here and go other places. So just so you guys know too. Do you guys have any questions on >> Nope. >> No. I will accept a motion to approve November 2025 claims. >> I make a motion to approve the claims for November 2025. >> I second the motion. >>

All in favor? >> I. >> All opposed. Motion passes. Um and then we're going to move on to review the payroll for October 2025. This is just a review. No motion necessary. Any questions on that? >> Uh, moving on to the minutes from October of 2025's regular meeting. This will need a motion. Any questions on that? >> No ma'am. >> Okay. I will accept a motion to approve the minutes for the October 2025 meeting, regular meeting. >> I make a motion to approve the minutes for the regular meeting October 2025. I second the motion. >> All in favor? >> All opposed? >> Motion carries. >> I apologize. The student activities isn't on there. >> That's my fault. I apologize, too. >> So, we we can approve them ne both months next month if that's all

right. >> Okay. Yep. That's fine with me. So, we'll table that or >> just do all of them all. Yeah. >> Together. Okay. Um, and then budget versus actual is also just a review. Any questions on that? Okay, moving on to announcements of public comment. Um, the board welcomes and encourages public comment. Anyone wishing to address the board is encouraged to do so with these stipulations. The board may limit the amount of time for the comment if they become extensive. If the speaker begins to infringe on the right of privacy of another, the board may interrupt and end comments on the issue. Even if the comments are entirely appropriate, the board will take no action on them at this meeting to ensure that others who want to address this same issue have the opportunity to

do so. The item will be placed on the agenda for a later meeting. [clears throat] Um, moving on to letters to the board. None student issues. Okay. Um, commendations and recognitions. Okay. No unfinished business. um committee reports. Leadership I think was the only one that met. Correct. >> And we just talked about >> we talked about the agenda. >> Yeah. >> So nothing really to report there. >> Um superintendent report. >> Um I don't have a whole lot. Uh I just want the board to be aware that we do have an arbitration date for February 26th. Um as that gets closer, I'll remind >> where does that take place? that the site hasn't it should be here at the school. >> Okay. This where it should be. Okay. >> Um it's a lawyer out of

building. That's I believe. Other than that, things are going extremely well. Our budget's in good shape. Even with Dave's tractor, he's got his tractor. He's pretty jacked. >> Waiting for it to snow. ass the other day on it. >> The blade the the front blade on it is sweet. >> I got a tractor just like it. I might have to talk a wife into letting me get one. >> Okay. So, principal report. >> Yeah. Um, I just want to say November is the month of Thanksgiving and um, I'm really thankful for the really wonderful teaching staff here at Boulder Elementary School as well as our Paris and our support staff. Uh, they've been doing a tremendous job this year. Um, and and we've had a significant number of challenges in particular that we're short staffed

in many areas, but everybody's just been doing a wonderful wonderful job and um, it's just a pleasure to work here. Uh we have the students playing starting today with new playground equipment. I put in an order for a bunch of new balls, basketballs and things. And um so the kids were really happy. That was fun to see. Our basketball season of course is in full swing. We've already had several away games and a home game. Um, we have made a small change to our website and that is uh I am currently attending in three parts a six-hour webinar from the NTSBA on title N. We had to make a small change to our website to be title N compliant. On your school's website, it has to say Title 9 and it has to say who

your Title N coordinator is, which is me. And then you also have to post your trainings so that if there were ever a complaint under Title N, uh we can show that the Title N coordinator was thoroughly trained in all of the procedures that have we have to have to be federally compliant. So just in case you looked at the website and noticed that there's one little change. Um, on November 25th, which is the Tuesday before the Thanksgiving break, this we are going to attempt a schoolwide photo with all our new t-shirts. So, weather depending, we might do it outside, otherwise in the gym. We're just going to keep our fingers crossed and see. Uh, on the 21st of November, our second and third graders will be attending, as some did last year, the Nutcracker

Ballet at the Civic Center in Helena. And then our fifth graders will have their second installment of what they started with the star base that Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving. And of course, everyone is looking forward to the Thanksgiving holiday this month. So that is my November principal. Awesome. Thank you guys. Okay, moving on to new business. We have a couple hires. Um, first we have a custodian. Um, Brandon, I'm going to murder this. Can you rack? Can you rack >> for the custodial position? So, I will accept a motion to approve. Brandon, >> he's working out real well. Is he? >> I think I ran into him tonight. >> And [clears throat] he was subbing here for >> Yes. >> a while and then kind of floated into that position. Correct. >> Yeah, they

knew him. So, yeah. Yeah. Sweet. >> Good. I'll make a motion to approve Brandon Canarak Kenny or something like that. Brandon K. >> Yep. >> I'll I'll introduce myself to get it for sure. Um the studio will hire. >> I second the motion. >> All in favor? I >> All opposed. Motion carries. Um the next one is paraprofessional hires. Um, we have a Senova Morris for the first grade par profofessional position. >> Yeah, I I put her out first grade. >> Savona. Oh, sorry. >> Um, we actually are we have to have a full-time parrot in the first grade. So, she's reported as our full-time, but we're actually kind of splitting the time between parents so that they're covered full-time. But, >> okay. >> That's where she's in the book. That's where she's at. Yep.

>> Okay. And anyone else? See if that's the only one. for professor. >> Do we have Mr. Pettis? >> He's a substitute. >> Oh, okay. >> So, we'll do that. I'll add that at the end here. >> Okay. >> After this one. >> Um, I will accept a motion to approve Senavona. I'll get it right. Morris for our first grade par professional position. >> I make a motion to approve Sona Morris for first grade position. >> I second the motion. All in favor? >> I. >> All opposed. Motion passes. >> And I did forget to put who is Carson? >> Carson has a substitute. Um he's actually bailed us out once already. Um but yeah, I did I didn't put him on the agenda, but he needs to be approved for for a substitute. >>

Okay. So, I will make a motion to approve Carson Pettis as a substitute for the school year. I make a motion to approve Carson Pettis. Is that right? For I have a hard time hearing because I'm so clocked. I'm sorry. Carson Pettis for substitute teacher for the school year. >> All in favor? >> I motion. All opposed. Motion passes. Um non-resident student acceptance is a standing item. Liquidation of school property. We have a the Toro lawn tractor that's needs to go um scrap scrap. So when we >> if this is approved it will halt. >> Okay. I will accept a motion to discard or dispose of the Toro lawn tractor. >> Make a motion to dispose of the old Toro lawn tractor. >> Second motion. >> All in favor? >> All opposed. We're just going

to take it to the >> to the dump. >> I told him I don't care where it goes. >> Yeah. Yeah. Well, as long as it's somebody >> as long as it's empty. >> Yeah. >> Fuel, we'll take it for free. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. I I think he's aware of that. So, >> okay. >> But that the new tractor fits in the or the desk shop. Okay. For said it's a little tight, but it fits, so that's good. >> Okay. No policy updates for this month. Um, the next item on the agenda is Elk Park RFD request for land transfer. >> Um, I did did let him know that it would be on this month's meeting. Um, I would like to make a suggestion that we [clears throat] wait until the summer cuz

I I believe it's seated to the county if the board does agree to do that and just to get our duction out if the board wishes to do that that we address this in the summer. So, where we got a little time to I'm not sure what the big rush on this since it's a 99-year lease. >> I think that's a very good idea, good advice. >> Unless you want it. It's up as >> I don't feel like there should be I mean I think we should look at everything and figure out exactly what's going to happen and how it's going to happen before we >> I'm more curious what's going to happen to the property after we dee it to them. >> I actually >> So that's my concern. I actually emailed them about

the concern about what they're going to do with it and um I can't remember her name who emailed me back said you know they've invested so much into that that they just would like to basically clean up what their agreement is >> right >> um and that there was no intention to get rid of it >> right >> cuz I profit from that >> that I did question there was no intention >> okay >> um but it goes to the county anyway >> okay >> is my understanding so I'd like to know how that works for going to the county. >> Yeah, cuz especially there different counties, right? >> Yeah. And I just would like to wait myself. I'd like to wait on it until we talk to the county and how that would be

done. >> It's still Jefferson County. >> It is still Jefferson. >> It's Jefferson County all the way to Woodville all the way to >> I don't think it be if it goes to the county then it shouldn't be an issue, right? >> Um but it's up to the board if you want I mean I could go to the county and see what the process has to be but I didn't want to. Well, I'm with Andrew. Like, I don't think we need to >> I think on the June agenda, >> okay, >> and let's let's get our ducks in a row ahead of time. Let's >> Yeah. I just Let's discuss it and really make a >> educated. It's outside of my experience of giving land. >> Yeah. Right. Here's an acre for free. >> Yeah.

Right. So, >> but if that's all right and there shouldn't be any rush on it, I I can email her tomorrow and just say we we're going to put it off until June until we Good luck >> June or July when we have a kind of slow meeting. I mean, July, I think we normally kind of not meet >> or try not to, but >> maybe a June meeting where there's not as much going on. >> Yeah, >> that sounds good to me. I' I would like to talk to I'm not even sure who to talk to at the county, >> right? >> I'd start with the clerk and recorder's office, maybe. >> Okay. Ginger. >> Yeah, like I said, I have no [cough] comments of that. So, >> so that is all that is

on the agenda for new business. Um, topics for future meeting. We normally cancel the December meeting because it's kind of a quiet month. >> Yeah. Last year, uh, the board did >> we did >> organize walk, but I encourage, you know, you don't have to have a meeting to do that. I would just encourage you that the teachers would love to see the board I mean that it just um it helps them know that they're appreciated. So good. >> Okay. >> Anything else that we need to >> um do we have to make a motion that you can pay claims in December? I was just thinking about that. So we'll have to entertain a motion to allow Britain to pay the December claims. >> Okay. I will accept a motion for Britain to approve the

December 2025 claims. >> I'll make a motion for Britain to approve the December 2025 claims. >> Second the motion. >> All in favor? >> All opposed. Motion carries. >> And then holiday parties or >> lunch? Are we talking about maybe doing that for the teachers? Did we do that at at noon time last year? [clears throat] >> Mhm. >> Yes. >> Yeah. Um I hate to ask who was in charge of that. >> Uh we >> pretty sure we all know who's [laughter] in charge of that. >> I didn't want to put any burden but uh yeah we can look at and see >> what works best time for the teachers and >> just to show them that we appreciate them cuz they >> they do enjoy the staff. >> Yeah. All you guys all

worked hard all year. >> The the 19th is our last day before the Christmas break and the 18th is the afternoon of the 18th is the holiday concert. >> Probably should do it not on one of them dates. >> Right. That's what I was saying. Just those are two dates to be aware of. I think all the other dates are um >> Okay. >> are would be a good time sometime that week. >> Okay. And if you need any help from us, Britain, just let us know. I think that's it. So the meeting is adjourned.
