one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> All right. Thank you, everybody. We have a lot of people here tonight. So, I have a feeling though it's about reports. Um any >> They won't last. They won't last. >> Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Any public comments tonight? Oh, we have one. Ta-da. >> Good evening, everyone. I'm Nina Ingraham, and I'm here for the last eighth grade um to be here. >> But I'm calling on calling on you then. >> Thank you for um coming to eighth grade graduation and for doing council so they can pursue and do new things. Um then we had our final student council field trip, and we went to Lava Island, Billings, and Pizza Ranch, and everyone had a really great time. So. And that is all

I have. Does anyone have any questions? >> I do have a couple. Okay. Okay. Um so, the funds that you raised, are they then left over for like the middle school for next year and whatnot? >> Yes, ma'am. I'm pretty sure. Um it just kind of goes into the one big account that you can use like future years and stuff. And so, we put it into the same account, which I think is just going to be used >> So, it just rolls over year to year. It stays in middle school. Okay. And what was um the best part of student council for you? >> Um as silly as this is going to sound, I loved running meetings so much. I thought it was so much fun. As much as everyone else like hated coming to

meetings, I loved running them. >> And then what was the most challenging part for you? >> Um probably the dance. Trying to organize everyone and get all like the papers turned in in time so that we had it ready in time. But it was a lot of fun to do it too. >> All right. How many members are on the middle school student council? >> We had 14 this year. So, there was quite a few. We did a couple We did more than last year. We did a couple more like specific committees rather than last year. We just had like the four very specific slots. We had like the chair committee design and all the things this year. But, it was really fun. Any other questions? Well, I hope I hope those questions were sufficient.

>> No, they were. Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you for coming every month. >> Thank you for the help. >> No, no, oh, good job, Anna. >> Thank you very much. >> Any other public comment? >> I have a public comment. Yes, it's it's it's a suggestion or request that's that's as much for me as it is to anybody. But, one of the things that I think is as a school that is a phone-free school, I think it's important that when people are watching online and people spend their time to come here and watch, that we not be on our phones. I think that there if there's a reason that you need and it's a it's very important, get up and leave the room. I'd also ask anybody that's in the audience, it

should be the same thing because, you know, we volunteer and do a lot of time up here. We're trying to do a really good job for our school. And if I look out and I see somebody sitting there on their phone, I don't know why they came to the meeting. And I know you people out there look up there and I'm checking my phone and I'm doing something, I'm texting something. You may wonder, do I really take my job seriously? So, I mean, it's not a rule or nothing. I just recommend. I think that anytime there's a board meeting, phones should be shut off and put away. If there's something you need to do, you get up and go out in the hall and do it and come back. But, that's my comment. >> All

right. Thank you, Mr. Adams. Any other public comments? All right. Well, moving on then to reports. Uh first up we have student council. >> Good evening. I'm student council advisor and I have the new student council members that I'd like to introduce for this coming year. So, you guys can stand up. All right. I'll have them introduce themselves and then I'll give the report, final report for this year and then anything else we have. So, >> Hi, I'm William Klein. Hopefully this will be a fun year. >> Um my name is Ford Kerper. >> I'm Justin Bickel. >> I'm Danny DeOrsay. >> Uh good evening. I'm Sophia Shelley. >> I'm Nick Klein. >> I'm Jay Forsman. >> They have already been hard at work with some new ideas, new energy. That's always fun to get

the new group ready for the next year. So, uh they'll be starting day one um coming up uh the 2026-2027 year. With that, uh we wrapped up uh the last group, the last day of school for them. Uh they had a little ice cream social. We didn't do the staff versus softball game. Things just got a little hectic that last week. Um but they had a good time wrapping up the year. Uh we also didn't go on our kind of annual ride student council trip at all, but I did take them out to dinner. So, I did was able to treat them with general merriment. >> I I support that. >> It was good to have them on this trip uh with that. But um but these guys are ready to go. I'm excited to

see what they're doing. They're already the kids in the school that already run things. So, uh they're they took on a new role, but it's really they're really just continuing on with that. So, I'm very excited for them. Uh do you guys have any questions for me or them? >> Well, I'll just say welcome and thank you for coming and introducing yourselves tonight. >> Very good. >> I look forward to watching you on when I'm watching the meetings every every month now. It's cool, yeah. Thanks, Connor. >> All right, thank you guys. >> Thank you. Thank you. I know. >> You guys can >> Sit down. I'm going to too. She'll be the one blowing up my phone. I'll have to look at my phone because someone will be blowing up my phone, but you

>> Don't look at Shut her off. She has no reason to be contacting a board member during a board meeting. >> She can, though. >> Huh? >> It's her first amendment right. Thank you, Connor. >> Okay, moving on. >> I don't care if the students sue their school. >> Moving on. >> They're not. >> Moving on. Elementary principal reporting. >> All righty. Um we have our final soar assembly of the year taking place this Friday, the last day of school, at 10:00 in the new gym. We'll be giving away some bikes and some um Kindles and you know, a lot of fun to wrap up the year. We had the egg days take place on April 29th. Thank you to the FFA program and Mrs. Milton and Mr. Alf for putting that together for our

Any questions for our elementary principal? All right, thank you. Uh moving on, middle school high school principal. >> All right. I feel like I don't have everything cuz it's been really busy, but uh we had some highway cleanups, Mrs. Melton and uh Honor Society students uh clean that section of the highway on May 6th. And already had a few tweaks from Mr. Hurd's band, you know. Um running through that with students and kind of finding conflicts and changes, but it's pretty pretty right there. Um and then graduation, Sunday high school

graduation and um last night eighth grade graduation. The halls were quiet today. quieter I should say. >> And thank you. Thank you to all of the teachers and like you said, bus drivers, and chaperones, everybody. I've said it before, I love field trips. I think there's I think it's an important part of what we do here. There's a lot of learning that can be done outside these walls, so um I'm really thankful that we're able to do field trips and continue to do field trips and have um staff who are committed to planning them and and putting them together, so thank you to everyone um that has any part in that. Um I heard a lot of positive feedback about the banquet, the sports banquet, so kudos to Mr. Counter. Um lots of very positive

feedback, so um it sounds like it was a really good time and I'm sorry I missed it, but I'm looking forward to next year. >> That sounds good. >> Yeah. And kudos to administration for sticking with everything. The end of the year is so busy. Um just the you know, what the board has to extra stuff the board is involved in. I'm exhausted. I can't imagine how you you all and the rest of the staff feel. So, we're in the final stretch. >> I was wondering about middle school graduation. It is Is it always the Monday? Or did it used to be a little later in the week and it got changed? I'm just curious about that change. >> Yeah, you know, last year it was on a Tuesday. Um and then this year it

was the Tuesday. It was the same night as the board meeting. >> So, it's never on Wednesday. It doesn't go that late usually. So, okay. >> Normally in my experience I think >> I just can't remember. >> Yeah. >> Just a hundred years ago it was on a Wednesday. >> Yeah. I think just last time out of school >> Since three of us had eighth graders. >> Well, I know not Tuesday's not good. >> Yeah. >> Which this year >> With the board meeting. >> I was thinking it was Wednesday. Sunday and Wednesday. >> It's never been Wednesday since I've been here and I think the Monday justification Mondays happened before too like if the last day of school is a 30 day. I don't know if they if they do change it or not.

He forgot to do one Um, so he was supposed to compete on Thursday, and he did the certification test for it, so he was certified to take it, and then he forgot to actually take the real test. But, he had to take two tests for his event, and
