I move that we go into executive session to consider expulsion of student 2526A. Can we do first motion to move it? >> Yeah. Okay. Can I can I ask a question on the expulsion? Are we taking action when we come out? Because I didn't see any action >> related to that. I move we uh move to executive session consider exposure on student 2526A. >> I got a motion from Josh and a second from Shane. Discussion from the public discussion from the board. We are going upstairs. No, I just heard something. Do you need me to go look for cancer? >> They're okay. Yes, that's agenda. >> Um Beautiful. All right, we have ex we have ended executive session. No action will
018be taken at this time right now. We're going to go into public comments. We have three, I believe. First public comment is from Thomas I believe. I'm sorry man came out dominated schools for decades using competency based education with measurable excellence no new leadership is importing standardsbased equitable education policies that have failed nationwide destroying our teaching culture and our children's future standard based equitable education fails district adopting these policies show a devastating pattern GPA rise with a ACT SAT scores plummet the data reveals system systematic grade inflation. Students earning Ace today score significantly lower on actual assessments that pre pandemic a student movements in California, Chicago, and Detroit districts leading this movement grades improve on paper while only onethird of 12th graders reach proficiency reading and math. California districts pioneering these policies have fallen far
019behind on test performance despite rising GPA. How excellence gets replaced. When you force teachers to build careers on measurable competency to accept grade inflation, most comply silently out of fear. A small handful have courage to speak out. These teachers are targeted the worst by making examples of resistors. Administration silences everyone else. Our biz teachers who spend decades building Lockwood's reputation eventually leave. They are they are replaced with teachers accepting lowered standards. This is just this isn't just losing employees. It's losing institutional knowledge. Proven teaching methods and the excellent excellence culture that made Lockwood dominant. What they've destroyed gifted talent and programming eliminated despite being tore to developing advanced learners. Advanced college level courses now being limited when students desperately need more rigorous preparation for college acceptance and success. Our best teachers, educators who build our
020reputation are being intimidated into silence or systematically driven out. We must demand return to competency based standards with measurable excellence. Protect teachers maintaining high standards instead of targeting those speaking out. Restore gifted learning and expand advanced program students need for college success. Show us data comparing current performance to our historical excellence. Our children deserve the teachers and programs that make Lwood great. Next we have >> Josh. >> Yes. >> Just two quick comments. We do have gifted learning that's never been taken away. We do have gifted and talented. We have core plus in addition to the core program and we do not have standard based rating. Just to clarify. Next we have L system. As I read the letter written by a principal and posted as a public document, I found myself in agreement with
021many of the points that she made. Board meetings at the beginning of this school year were positive environments as they have turned very toxic. I also thought that her paragraph on the role of a school board should be restated here. A school board governs a local public school district by setting vision, adopting policy, approving budgets, hiring the superintendent, ensuring accountability, representing community values without running the daily operation which are handled by the superintendent. Thank you for years of working with our students. And for this reminder, I would respectfully add that the school board represents the local community interest in education. school board, administration, staff and community, including the students are the four legs that make up America, American public education. As long as four are fulfilling their role, the school is strong. Fortunately, the community
022does not feel that these interests are being heard in Lockwood. Data shows that attendance is poor, enrollment is declining, and teacher retention is poor. As parents, we see that classes do not have teachers. Getting students in desired electives is increasingly difficult. opportunities have been reduced and decreased in school pride in our children. It is saddening to think of all my child's friends that have have and are transferring out of Lockwood. Over the past few years, I have talked to many of the staff that have left. Nearly all of them have left because of administration. In today's correspondence, there is evidence that another teacher is at odds with the administration and she believes policies are not being followed by the administration. While part of this has been made public, the email refers to the attachment that
023has been that has not been made public. This is exactly the lack of transparency that is making the community and staff frustrated. If the principal's email was made a public document as a whole, should the teachers correspondence also be made public as a whole? It is fair to choose. Is it fair to choose what is to be made public and what is not? If the chairman chairman's assessment of the complaint is correct, why hide the actual complaint? The truth is going to come out. The longer it takes, the worse it's going to hurt the school. Board meetings have become toxic because the community does not feel represented by the board. Statements and decisions made in recent board meetings have shown loy loyalty of the board to administration rather than to the community. The board can
024do both, but the community must come first. This is who is this is who they represent. Most community members will remain silent. Some are just leaving. Others are choosing to fight for a better education. More of the silent community members are going to either get vocal or leave until they feel interest represented by the board. The school is out of balance. >> Josh, can I ask a question on that? >> Sure. So we had positions coming up board Dan and we received just a plethora of candidates for >> Okay, good to know. >> All right. There's opportunities. If you think the board needs to change, remember that there's opportunities for that and there's continually board members that are coming up. So if you think the board is representing the community, then certainly step up and
025make those changes if you would like it. >> Next is from Jean Olsen. When teachers are allowed to be demeaned and harassed while teachers when teachers can be written up without any proof. When students can be accused of making death threats without evidence and when those in charge of the school act solely in the interest of administrations rather than the broader school community. It creates a deeply unhealthy environment. Such practices undermine trust, morale and fairness, making it difficult for educators and students to feel safe, supported or respected. Additionally, I want to ask the board three questions. When I filed the formal complaint with the board, I had an attachment to my email. The attachment was sent to the entire board. There was no names mentioned. Why is this attachment shared with the public? Two, if
026the original complaint against the building administrator was not a policy 1700 complaint, why is this policy why was the policy 1700 F1 form sent to me directly to use? Why wasn't the grievance for form under the CBA provided to me? Why did I receive a response after I submitted a complaint using policy 1700 file? If the grievance process under the CBA was the correct procedure, I was not met with until full day after filing the complaint rather than within 10th day timely required timeline required by the CBA. Why was I the only party required to strictly adhere to the 10-day timeline? The double standard throughout the entire process has been incredibly frustrating. I will say that uh MTSB MTSBA has also been involved and they have told me that I handled this properly using the
0271700s complaint form. So Josh, can I just ask I guess a question? Sure. And and or a comment. Um agree with MTSBA. I guess from hearing and seeing the correspondence being part of the part of trying to understand the process as a board member. It was very hard also. Um so my recommendation is is that we understand and not just us, but we help share the understanding of what those processes are supposed to look like. Um, because they're they're confusing. I mean, point point that, you know, I mean, there's there's just mixed understanding of what process should be followed. Not saying this one was done incorrectly or incorrectly because I haven't looked at the specific case. Um, but I just feel that there's a lot of um, you know, do this in the policy, but
028then no, you didn't do this or or whatever. So, I I recommend that we review the 1700 policy as a board and understand the ins and outs of the different purposes and that makes that play. >> Yeah. No, that's we can we can review this on the policy, but I will say one thing that MTSBA did say that this was handled correctly. I have a question. >> Next, we have public comments from Flint. Welcome. Thank you. Yeah. I'd like to inquire about the lack of transparency to the parents of the high schoolers that didn't have English teachers the first semester. Talked to several of them. They said they had no clue. They were never notified by the school >> that we didn't have English teachers. >> Yeah. >> You have English teachers hired some >>
029Well, that doesn't count, right? I mean, I'm I'm talking an English teacher that was teaching the class. >> We hired certified teachers that chose not to stay because they were with companies not in Montana. Some of them had personal issues that we did not feel were beneficial to our district. >> They were We had the right to tell the company we're not keeping you, >> right? >> We had no applications. We did what we could until >> But why that still Why weren't the parents notified, >> right? That's a lack of transparency. >> If I could respond, um, we did notify through campus when we had information to give. we are not able to talk about um employees or what's happening on that but we had staff we had designed lessons with our um curriculum
030director those were being delivered Mr. cabin went in. That was in in the time frame we're waiting for our first set of teachers. Um, and throughout that time, we get noticed that they're not able to come. We then put it back out there to get hired. We fill it with subs as you would on any open uh situation. Uh, we get someone else hired. There are reasons again that we can't talk about their employment. It's not anyone's right to know about that. Um, when we had a plan, we sent an infinite campus message out that we were able to do. So, um, we did send messages out to those parents. um when we had information that we could give. Um and in between there, we staffed it as best as we could. Um and under
031all the um regulations, we followed all of them with our um abilities with another long-term staff. We were able to keep one. We had mentioned this in several other meetings. Um and then the other one we were we were able to staff with meeting um just different individuals. Um, and it wasn't for lack of transparency as we have only rights to say certain things. >> Anything else, sir? No. >> Okay. Thank you. Next is Charity Bowler, policy, law, and teacher intention. Under Montana law, the authority to govern the school district and oversee district administration rests with the board of trustees acting collectively not with the board chair co-chair acting individually pursuant to MCA23- 324. The board's powers and duties must be exercised by the full board in noticed meetings with department of all complaints received
032by the board including community complaints and complaints involving the superintendent. The chair and co-chair do not have the legal authority to unilaterally screen, design, or disposal complaints on behalf of the board. Nor may the board lawfully delegate the chair or co-chair a gatekeeper that role that prevents matters from being brought before the full board. Montana opening laws, title 2, chapter 3, require the board deliberation and decision-making on public business. If improperly noticed meetings, complaints being sent to the board for awareness, discussion, or action must therefore be presented to the board as a whole. While the board may adopt policies and procedures, school district policy cannot superside or conflict with state law. Where a policy is inconsistent with Montana law, the law controls to comply with these legal requirements and things received by the board should
033be disclosed to all trustees and placed on the agenda of a regular special board meeting for consideration by the full board. It is my understanding the board chair may receive a complaint on behalf of the board log and distributed to the entire board of trustees. The board of trustees cannot delegate authority to the chair co-chair to decide whether the board even will see or consider a complaint. The board must collectively determine in a properly noticed meeting with a quorum whether the complaint will be accepted for review, referred back to the into the process, investigated, scheduled for further discussion, or dis dismissed for a stated reason. The complaint cannot be dismissed if the complaint alleges a violation of board policy or law MCA-23330. The complaint cannot be dismissed if the superintendent is the subject of the
034complaint. I would urge the board of trustees to place complaint policies on the agenda for review as they prove to be difficult and unclear. This is about integrity, accountability, and whether the district wants to be placed wants to be a place where good teachers feel safe raising concerns and are confident in our complaint process or a place where they all leave quietly. And in light of recent concerns about staff retention at the high school, I would hope this is being taken very seriously. Thank you. >> I will reiterate that MTSBA has told me that we are well within compliance and that was handled properly. Next we have >> may I speak just again on behalf like I understand what MTSBA is saying but I think we're hearing our community and we've heard from other board
035members that have asked about transparency and understanding the process. So I'm not asking to reiterate that specific issue. What I'm asking is that 1,700 be placed on a future agenda for all board members to discuss openly and questions that they might have or don't have because I wasn't the only one that had the questions with the >> Okay, thank you. >> Next is Carissa Henrik's role of school board. want to begin technology with significant responsibility that you guys all carry. >> Serving on a school board in Montana. >> Can you stand up? >> Um, serving on a school board in Montana is not easy and I recognize the time required. With that responsibility, however, comes a constitutional and statutory obligation to the public. Public education in Montana is grounded in the Montana Constitution. Article 10
036establishes the state's responsibility to maintain and support a free public education system. Article two, section 8 and nine guarantee the public's right to participate in government and to examine public documents. These are enforcable rights, not a symbolic not symbolic statement. As board members, you are the fiduciaries for this community. The board sets the tone for transparency, accountability, and trust. If the board wants the community to continue to attend meetings and engage in the process, then they the community must feel welcome and respected when they do. Not everyone can or should become a board member. It's not realistic, but every community member has the right to attend meetings, observe deliberations, and participate in public comments. The majority of citizens won't ever sit in the seats you guys are sitting in, but they can show up to
037these meetings. The atmosphere and procedure should reflect that that we are valued participants in the process, not just inconveniences. Montana law is clear. Under 2-2-203 MCA, all meetings of public bodies must be open to the public. Under 2-3-212 of MCA, minutes must be kept and must reflect the substance of matters discussed in the action taken. In addition, 2-3-11 MCA guarantees the public a reasonable opportunity to participate in the operation of governmental agencies prior to the final decision. Public comment is not a courtesy. It is a statutory right. When comments are excluded from minutes or reduced to minimal notations that fail to reflect their substance, it undermines both the right to know and the right to participate. I began attending meetings because I am deeply concerned about the situation with our teachers and how it affects
038the operation of the district as a whole. Teacher morale and retention are not a side are not side issues. They are fundamental are foundational to student success and district stability. When teachers feel unsupported, that impact is felt throughout the entire school system. The recent correspondence from a principal degrading members of the community and parents is a clear example of why many people believe the administration is shielded from accountability when no discipline was taken. When leadership communicates in a way that disrespects parent enrollment, it reinforces the perception that this board favors administration over teachers and over the community's wills. Public trust is earned through transparency and equal accountability. When individuals in positions of authority are allowed to intimidate, dismiss, or degrade staff and parents without consequences, that is not just a culture issue. It is a
039governance issue. If we continue to allow the same patterns of behavioral and behavior and same concentration of unchecked authority, nothing will change and nothing changes community support. It will continue to roll. That is not a threat. It's a predictable outcome. The community is showing up or participating. Oh, I'm two seconds away. We are exercising our rights guaranteed under the Montana law. I urge the board to demonstrate those rights are respected not only informed but in practice. Thanks. >> Thank you. Is there any more public comments >> after this point? Only only comments that we'll be receiving is on action items. >> Okay. Facilities report. >> Hello everyone. um actually been able to keep up on all our work orders and all that. So yeah, we should be awesome. >> Thank you, Mark. >> Primary Good
040evening. Um, I'll try to be quick. I'm just going to kind of highlight a little bit on each grade level. Um, kindergarten this month. We are kind of celebrating their mission. Oh, it's the grade. Yeah. Okay. So, kindergarten is working with CAPT. They've kind of incorporated that. Um, it started with intervention grant and then we've expanded because we saw really results with that. So, um, just kind of watching the students success with that program and how we're going to continue to use that in the future. First grade, uh, their CKL a unit is about the earth this month. Um, they're starting their measurement unit in bath and they get to go on a trip, a field trip to the Alberta Bear. So, they're equally excited for that. Um, second grade, they are celebrating the Olympics.
041So there the second grade hall is very very colorful and amazing. If any of you have a chance to get in there in the next week or two, I would recommend it. So they had an open ceremonies parade. We had um one of the girls that work in the cafeteria. She lit the torch up Big Sky Games years ago. So she actually had a torch that she carried and started. And then all the different classes are a different country. The doors all through the second grade hallway are designed with the flags of different countries and they're keeping metal counts and it's, you know, tied into, of course, all of their math units and their CKLA units and they're making it just a big to-do and it was really really exciting and I know Mr. Chrisman
042had a little a little blip of the parade. So, video's a little rough, but it is So each teacher that was carefully assigned for a country has that country on their door and they're keeping track of the medals that country earns. So if you walk down the hallways, all the doors have a country on them with a medal count on it. So it's really a neat thing. The hallways are hung with decorations for each country. So it's really a neat celebration. >> Every day they've added um they have like the Olympic rings kind of hanging on the walls and there's have been new decorations that appear every day. So it's really fun to see how they're incorporating it all. Okay, thank you. Uh, intermediate again. >> Good evening. Well, the students stole the the light,
043so thank you again. Um, I'll I just have a couple of things I want to make sure that I bring up in February's report. Um, so the middle school reached out um about the spelling bee for our fifth graders to be participants and I think that hasn't happened probably since pre-COVID. Um, and so one of our fifth graders um actually took first um and will be participating at the county be which is really exciting and again just a different opportunity for students to to be a part of something we haven't been a part of for a long time. So, uh, congrats to Ace Oldthorn. Um, as far as professional development goes, our third, fourth, and fifth grade teachers, um, once in January on a Wednesday, and then once this month on a Wednesday are going
044to be continuing their training with Eureka Math Squared, which is the newer math curriculum um, that we adopted a couple of years ago. So, again, taking a deeper dive um, how to differentiate even more than we already are. And so just getting further training on that. Uh reading pride is tomorrow again where we have volunteers um you know spill into our classrooms and share the love of reading. So uh third, fourth and fifth graders and families are also being invited by our counselor Mr. Trescott uh to do lunch and learns this year. Um, and so it'll look a little different, you know, a as it has from the past, but his goal is to really share our the mental health resources that our school does have and how to get those into the hands of
045our families in addition to just attendance uh data and just some routine type of suggestions that we have overall for families. So that will be um in a couple of weeks and we're he's doing a different grade level um every single day. So it'll be three days backtoback. Um and through our mental health funding, Mr. Chrisman has helped us um find a way to get free meals for the families that are coming in um to make sure that we again share the resources that Lockwood has to give to our families. Um, in the last couple of months, I've had some incredible veteran teachers step up into some mentorship um, roles for our first and second year teachers. Um, and so the goal was for within our second trimester that they would have three opportunities to
046go watch their colleagues and then on the flip side, you know, the mentee would go into the mentor. And so that has been a huge huge success. Um and a lot of staff have said like are we limited to three? Heck no. Like explore away our colleagues. Um that's honestly one of the best professional developments um personally that I've ever had is watching our own teachers in our classrooms. U because they have amazing things to share and every teacher is just so different. And so it's taking things um that you know little key things that teachers can implement in their classroom. So just wanted to make sure you knew that. Um and then lastly because of the literacy grant um we are able to do a small afterchool tutoring and so we have identified students
047and we're getting that rolling uh the last week of February. So is there any questions? Okay. Thank you. uh middle school. >> Hi everybody. Um this past month we um are we had our January house games uh ran by our line mentors. House came out on top for that earning the most points for the month of January. Um as far as our attendance competition between the houses, um house altruismo ended up with 92.33%. uh think that they've won three months in a row with their attendance in the house. Overall for the school year, we're 91.59, which is an increase, I'm guessing, of about 2 percentage points from the previous three or four years. So, uh in tenants approved, which is great to see. Um, spelling bee as Miss Wolf spoke to, uh, we have two
048contestants going to the county spelling behind it. Um, our Lego robotics team, uh, one of our teams just got second place at the state competition in innovation, which was really cool to see. They've wor been working extremely hard, uh, almost the entire year preparing for that competition. Um we had the privilege um due to a grant that that Mr. Chrisman uh attained to take 11 staff members to the Ron Clark Academy down in uh Atlanta, Georgia here in the past six weeks. And um you know just in incredible uh opportunity to go and see one of the uh premier schools in the world, see the level of instruction that we saw um truly um um career changing for all of us. I would say that truly there's a uh it's an incredible experience that that
049we brought a ton back from that we're excited to continue to make our school a better place as a result of that. Um the adventure club, you know, ski trips, we've taken one grade level, we still have a couple more to go this month. So hopefully we have snow in the month of uh March as two grade levels of kids still really want to go skiing. Um, and our librarians been doing a great a great job with the Battle of Books uh competition here this past month as well. So, any questions from the board? >> Thank you. High school. >> Yes. So, we have quite a few things. Um, one, uh, next week we will have student council has organized and will run our winter assembly. So, I'm excited to see that. uh getting that
050group um has been a good group of leaders that have a bit of a personality. Uh today we had a reality fair which is um an air all area um credit unions come together and provide this opportunity for schools. Um I would actually ask Harrison to tell us a little bit about the reality fair as he participated today. Our seniors um get to do that. They try to look for about a hundred kids to be able to come in for this event. Our senior class is a little bit more than a hundred. So Harrison, if you could just give what did you experience as you came through that? >> Yeah, you just like we went in there and then we got like a job and they show you how much you make and then you
051go and you go to stations and you figure out a budget and it was just yeah good way to figure out like a a real world experience of what it would be like to budget. >> Important question. That's what I was wondering. >> Fastest Wi-Fi and the best phone. >> Well, I had the best internet. Yeah, that one. Yeah. >> Did you end with money? >> I did end with money. >> Well done. I love those. >> Okay. So, that's that's something that's our third year of doing it. It's been very positive. Um it would be awesome if we could do more. One of the requirements is that all of our students now graduate with personal finance class. This is just one that really says what does it mean to make 40,000 a year? What
052does it mean to make and have x number of kids and things like that? So, I I would have liked to have done it as a kid, but uh now I do as an adult and turns out I'm heck still got payment stuff, right? Um we have a couple of other things um regarding some uh I think and it's it's an exciting opportunity that we are seeing if we can realize it. You guys will be getting a survey out wondering kind of canvasing if our student if our drivers and community would be interested in a Lockwood license plate. This would be um uh started with our BPA. There's steps that have to go through um to do that. We have obviously a trademark on our our lions. So, we'll be able to do that. It
053would be black and white. A survey will be coming out and it's a short turnaround because there are deadlines along um with the motor vehicle department. Um and so BPA is heading that up. I want to give them kudos for that. I'll be really excited if this uh license plate comes out. Um and I'm not sure, you know, there is some fundraising that needs to happen. So, I wouldn't be sure if we'll make the March deadline this year or the March for next year, but I'm excited about that and grateful that BPA is looking toward those things. Um, I think it'd be pretty cool to drive around with with that plane. Um, we, as you know, have a CNA class. However, we have some opportunities to expand that um through um Highland College. And I
054just want to bring up some of these. They're kind of exciting opportunities uh with the CNA particularly um we have students that will and hopefully fill these roles uh that a CNA does in all of these different entities um in our community. So we're hoping that we have students there, but we also know that CNA can be an entry point into the medical profession. So through Highland College um we would be able to partner with them to expand what we currently do with CNA. And so we take a couple of the courses that we already offer for dual enrollment um college writing and college math classes. And then we um take our students could take additional um dual enrollments through the Highland College um to round out and have um uh 12 currently 12 credits.
055It's being moved up to um 14 uh credits. And then that would get them further obviously into is this the right kind of career for me? but also further along into that. So, I was firm that I wanted to be able to keep the CNA class though as a standalone because some students that would be taking the CNA class wouldn't be able um or feel comfortable taking a college level uh English and a college level math. And part of what is required by a provider that um gives us dual credit is or this certificate um they have to have 51% of the credits have to come from the providing college and so we would only be able to offer on campus our college writing and our college math and the other classes would have to
056be um through their people. Um we learned a little bit about um with City College. We had a meeting with City College and found that um the office of public instruction is taking a look at if we're offering high school credit and college credit, which again is called that dual enrollment um that the entity that is providing those credits. So like this could be um MSU um or this Highland that their professor if it's not one of ours that are certified in high school, it's one of their professors, they have to have high school um license. And so that is becoming more difficult um because obviously a lot of the college professors are cert are not certified high school. So that's just something that um more coming down the pike. I'll keep you updated as
057I learn more on that. Um very exciting also is that we have been in the last few years trying to figure out how do we address a community need interest. what we drive around our community and see is that um CDLs are something um that you see across many entities in this area. Um and so through uh Highland College, there is a high school CDL um that we will be able to partner with. I got to get to that paper. I'm so sorry. My handwritten notes were going to be tied and they didn't. But my my uh assistant didn't show up. I am the assistant, by the way. Okay. Um, so, uh, with that one, they would be it would be a 12 credit currently. Again, it's college writing, it's college math, so we house
058those here. Um, and then it' be a couple of additional ones. Microsoft Office, um, HDL 100. Um, there would be a cost for that one about 1,500 currently, but if you went and did this on your own, it would be 4 to $6,000. Um, so that would be a huge thing for our students. It is I don't know these letters, but a few of you do. ELDT approved and Montana approved. Our kids would have a class A unrestricted in >> interest. I was gonna say it right and I said it wrong. Yes, that um and so we really are looking forward to that. We we know it's going to have some cost to it that we'll have to address if we'll be able to address some inhouse. We don't know that yet, but um we're
059definitely moving uh toward this opportunity for kids. I'm very excited about that one for our community as well. Um, one more. Um, so we currently offer EMT, uh, emergency medical, but we also have the ability to offer two fire courses. one semester would be firefighting. Semester two would be wildland wildland fire and that would open up our students to be able to help during the summer with BLM and get some um uh hands-on experience. So, so those are just new things um that we're looking at. We're in the midst of working at scheduling. I can promise you that as we add more, it will make making scheduling for students to get all that they want a little bit difficult, but it'll open up uh more access that we already have quite a bit and we'll
060just um be able to offer more. So, pretty excited about that. Um and did I have anything else? Anything else? No, that's all I have. So, any questions for me? >> Can you have an update on the meeting that you had in front of dual credit honors class? Yes, >> I know you were going to gather questions. >> The Yep. The questions were gathered during the meeting. I've typed those up. Um we've started answering those um take them to the SLT and we will take a look at through um how to answer most of those were how can I ensure most of the questions when we see trends were how can we ensure that kids get all the classes that they want if they're in honors. Um and so that's one of the things that
061we are working on. It's just mathematical how many periods our students get a day to fill with a class. Um band is particularly hard because say in the morning we have three classes that are middle school band, three classes that are middle school choir, one class that is middle school agriculture and so all of those come out and that means that's less points uh or possible spots to put those in. Um so we just have to be thoughtful about how can we try to meet everyone's needs for what they're wanting. Um and uh so we we have our counselors that have looked at the whole spectrum of our um master schedule and said okay we're seeing that period one might not have enough offerings for freshmen things like that. So we take a look at
062that. Um and so we are addressing that was the most common question was how can my student get honors and bands that were asked not answered that even you guys are working on. >> Yep. That's what I mean. We are we I typed up all those. I've started answering those on my chart and then we'll take it to the SLT, have them um ask and answer back. Um we'll find if there's holes in in what information that we need. Um for example, one of them was what kind of certification that they need. So we met with MSU Billings City College. So we just need time to actually smartly research these things, take it to the SLT, the school leadership team, and then we can bring it back out. Other questions about my report? >> I
063do want to add that we're also in the process of starting is formally I'm C's not here because this was a big push. What was formerly known as HOSA um health occupation students of America. We are starting a chapter here next year. I'm in the process of working with the state director. We have to make sure we have enough interest in getting it going. But it's now known as future healthcare profession. So it's going to change but we are in the process. I got the forms today and we'll start working on that for next year. >> Thank you. >> Curriculum. >> Hi. Um, so kind of following up naturally on what a lot of other people have already said, it's been a lot of professional development lately in a lot of different areas. So, there's
064been some exciting good things going on on campus. We had a full day of PD for all of our teachers on January 19th with a variety of activities. Um, we also, it's CTE month. So, uh, the state just released new CTE, career technical education pathways, um, that will be put into practice next year. So, today I was looking through those and, uh, pretty exciting. I think we're going to be able to really offer a lot of the pathways that the state recognizes. So, that's exciting stuff. As we get further down that road, we'll bring that information back to you. Um we are also with the literacy grant doing a lot of professional learning around the science of reading. So um on January 19th we were able to train a lot of our peers and teachers
065who are in classrooms where literacy is happening um in the science of reading practices that are easy to implement and support student learning. Um, we also, and this is, um, even more exciting, had about 25 community partners. Um, so I reached out to every daycare in Lockwood um to try to invite them in um to get early childhood training for how and we've hired a professional um who works in that space to come in and talk about how can we work with our zero to five year olds to get sort of the most bang for our buck without it becoming really overwhelming. So it was really exciting to see a really great amount there. Um and then we have 20 teachers in our own district who are engaging in a 45hour course around the science
066of reading. So um lots of exciting stuff going on. It's also a data heavy month. We've gotten a lot of data back um from our winter testing window. So, a lot of our leadership team meetings have been focused on looking at that data and trying to figure out where we need to make adjustments, what's working, and um working with teacher teams to determine what our next steps are. So, it's been lots lots of good stuff going on on campus. So, any questions for me? uh safety. >> Um we meet every probably four to six weeks. We have a representative from community, every building and one board member um comes to that. Uh we talk a lot about the drills mostly lockdowns communication with that and practicing that. >> Sorry. >> Um we're almost finished with
067our key audit and cleaning that up the year. We'll probably move to doing that about two or three times a year. And then the last thing is just getting metal detectors uh calibrated and finishing with um drugs here. Any questions for safety? Thank you. Activities going everybody. Um just a few updates here. Um I know it's been a while since I came in and got to got to give a report. Um but just starting off kind of winter sports are we're starting to wrap up here the next couple weeks we have basketball night obviously. Um we have senior nights for basketball here pep band and speech and debate. Um so last last kind of home event for basketball for the season. Then we have divisionals basketball coming up in a couple weeks and then we're
068hosting divisionals uh the Eastern Divisional wrestling tournament here this week. Um so a lot going on. Be a lot of people in the building and on campus here the next next few days. So um I think we're all ready to go set up for that. Um so excited to get that off and rolling. Speech and debate finished up their season just a couple weeks ago. Had nine kids qualify for state up at Corvalis. when Mitchell uh shock took third. Varsity LD debate huge accomplishment uh Shaman took eighth. Mike Barnes and Grace Smith took ninth. Ella Dykes Izzy Randez took 10th. Um Harasa took 22nd. Dramatic interpretation. Ari Brookens took 16th and Danny Stark uh took 18th. So big accomplishment for them. We had a pretty pretty dealing team overall. Um a lot of those kids
069is the first first time going up to to state and so um they they had a blast and they saw a lot of growth through the season. So um big college accomplishment there baseball. So uh everybody's looking forward to baseball kind of getting kicked off here. I think we're we're in a good spot at this point. Uh we've had a lot of discussions with the Lockwood Little League and they've agreed to let us use their their fields down here um for the time being um at least for practice with the hopes of eventually getting getting our games there. There's got to be some some uh modifications and and some things done um there. But uh they're they absolutely amazing to work with and very inviting for us to get down there and uh and have
070our baseball team here actually in Lockwood, which is really cool. So, uh, for this season, as of right now, we're just practicing there. Hopefully, we can get some things in place to hosting a game or two there as well, which will be really cool to have here, um, in our community. But the majority of our games will be played up in the Heights at Howard Field, um, which is behind Medicare. So, kind of up in that corner of the heights there. So, um, yeah, they, uh, Shane Bus, uh, has been awesome to work with, very inviting for us to get up there as well. So, I'm just very, uh, very happy that we have a place to to play because there's not that many, um, fulls size fields and building that aren't being utilized basically
071full full. Um, staff is filled, triyouts will be March 16th. Um, numbers look absolutely amazing right now. I think last last report I got, we're looking like having have 50 to 60 kids out, which is which is awesome. Huge huge numbers. That's more numbers than anybody else around. So, really looking forward forward to that and have a lot of excitement um you know with that with starting up that program. So, first game will be March 27th up at Howard against Billings Senior at Fort Beyond. So, anybody that wants to come out, >> what day was it? What day was that? What day was that? >> March 27th. Yeah, bars do at 4 and and JV will will be up for that at 6. Um, and the only other thing that I have, um, kind of
072new that that came across my desk, um, which I think will we'll clean up a lot of things from the activities athletic site is, um, looking into which we already utilize Arbiter for all of our game stuff, um, scheduling, workers, all that kind of stuff, all our our students registration. Um, but Arbiter also offers a a website. Um that would be just strictly like an activities athletics hub um where all of our schedules all that stuff would go and that would interact with our game which is where we schedule all of our stuff. So there wouldn't be okay game change here I got to fix it on five different schedules download a PDF then send it and have somebody upload it. So it would automatically update everything and it would go out and everybody would
073have a 100% up-to-date schedule whenever they look at it. So, um, a lot of cool aspects to it. Um, that again, I think we tend to clean up a lot of communication for the community, for our kids, parents, stuff like that. So, that's about all I have. Any questions? >> A quick question on the um, spring sports that are coming. Is the baseball schedule that you mentioned, is that out on the website? And >> it it is not yet. It should be here in the next few weeks. He just had a couple a couple additions um as far as we picked up pick up one or two games um for that in softball which we did this last week. So that should be posted here in the next next week >> and your track. >>
074Yeah, same thing. >> Okay, thank you. >> Any other questions? >> Uh student council. >> Um yeah, I don't got a lot. We have our winter pep assemblies coming up which we'll mention that we're um setting up and we've just been doing some concession stuff which we actually have tonight if you don't mind after this if I go help them out just so they're okay. Um but basically it >> before Harrison leaves I want to publicly congratulate you on your college selection next year. >> Thank you. Thank you. >> What were you gonna share with >> Yeah. I'll be attending Drake University. >> All right. Any other questions for student council? >> Harrison, you may run away. >> Thank you. >> Uh, super chance report. Right. Our current enrollment is 1325. It's a decrease of
07511 students over last month across the district. With the 11 that left, we've had approximately 10 coming in just to our primary. So that flow that we've done the data on is staying at around 1500 kids is what the with the in-n-outs are showing to be at. Um our attendance rates are above the 90s in all buildings. Um our district attendance rate for our building attendance rates are primary 93.2, 2, intermediate 91.5, middle school 90.35, and high school 90.818. So, we're still way above the state average for attendance at all of our buildings. We continue to have about 117 students enrolled through open enrollment process that have come from that district to Rockwood. Um, I want to celebrate a couple of things today related to our school board. First, I would like to discuss the
076Martin Hines award given by the Montana School Boards Association. It's an individual recognition presenting schoolboard trustees who achieve the highest level of trustee certification through MTSBA schoolboard academy or similar board training and certification programs. It honors trustees who complete extensive training and professional development in effective governance and board leadership. I am pleased to announce that chairman Josh Skidmore is a recipient of this award for 2025. Thank you. >> And for the entire school board, the Golden Gavl Award is given by the Montana School Boards Association to recognize school awards, not individuals, and demonstrate exemplary board governance through ongoing training and development. It is my pleasure to award to present the Lockwood School District with their 35th consecutive Golden Gavl award which is a state record. No other district has ever achieved that. And you can
077see those up here. So this is their 35th year of our board members meeting the requirements of training by NTSBA. I'm not going to review everything in here. It's kind of a review of everything that's gone on in the district. I do want to say that our transformational learning grant. I had the first meeting with the group. Lockwood is one of the five districts in the state that was awarded the grant. It will bring in with our advanced opportunity grant which is all on advanced classrooms dual credit payment for kids. That covers that two credits we cover. This will bring in $422,000 next year. that will go into a flex fund that we can use to advance some proficiency based learning which the individual in the public comments talked about but it's going to be
078a process that's guided by the state so we will be working with that but we have a lot of funding to do that with so we can do it right um the advanced opportunity grant usually goes to cover cost related to supplies for advanced opportunity classes so we do that and it also covers CTE expenses that we don't have funding for our Carl Perkins grant doesn't bring a lot in from the state to cover our CT coursework. We do get a little bit of funding from the state to help cover that. That funding helps cover costs that are unexpected or we didn't that don't aren't covered by the Carl Perkins grant. So, those are two big things that are coming in. We did receive a request from OPI if we wanted more funding strong connection
079grant which was a perfect timing because Mrs. Wolfick reached out and said we have this program we want to do in our intermediate on mental health and that's what the grant covered. We've had extreme funding from them previously. We picked up another $3,000 which will cover the project in the intermediate building and help Mr. Prescott do the family lunch and learns based on mental health. So that was a really good thing that will that will promote the program really far. Um we have been working with Jet Foundation. Um it is mental health programming development. Our steering committee has been working with them. We will have, in fact, we will be meeting them while we're at the National Association of Student Superintendent Conference in the next four days. Be meeting with some of the national leaders
080to talk about what we're doing here in Lockwood. Um, it's going very well. We provided a lot of the information they need to start developing programming here that will be sustainable. We have a two-year project with them that was afforded through the stronger convention. As M. B said, our career readiness and workforce development continues to grow. Um, we have to be careful on how fast we grow based on the funding we get. So, we have to do that in increments that we can afford to cover with the money we bring in from the state. Um, I want to congratulate Mr. Kinsey for the Adrien Langstaff award he received at the principal's conference last month. It's the highest award a principal honor a principal can achieve in the state. And Mr. selected from all applicants across
081the state as a recipient for this year. >> All right, some quick things. Um, I was approached by a staff member and asked if we could consider a corporate sponsorship with the YMCA. That is now in place. We had five staff members that were members. That's all we needed to start. They are now coming and setting up um recruiting during our healthy years program where the people come in and do our healthiest coaching. YMCA will be here now to sign up people that are interested. So that'll go on as long as we need to to get that up. You get discounts that the people joining get discounts based on how many. So right now we're getting 10%. If they get 15 to 20 they get a 10 15%. It just keeps going up. um our
082ESA title one monitoring. We clean received a clean audit from the state. Um that will get us through I believe the next five years without another monitoring from them was extensive. It took about four and a half months to complete and probably three or 4 thousand documents but we had a couple of findings because the documents didn't go across in how they transmitted them and sent them up. Those were filled up and we now have a a clean outcome on that. Um, I talked about our advanced opportunity grant that was $100,000. I'd like to discuss feedback. I appreciate the feedback in my evaluation very much. So, I took that and developed my growth plan for the next year and it is outlined here. So, this will take place between now and December of next year.
083I just wanted to outline that here. I don't need to go through all of it. It's based on the feedback I received from each of the board members. We will also meet mid year which would be about September October because our year starts in July. Talk about where we're at with this and actually list data that shows where we are on the steps that you guys had outlined. So those things will be addressed as I go through. I have been sending out the weekly updates as we had talked about in that. So, I'm sending that out and getting as much information in there as I can. And the last thing is I have started and presented or developed and presented the transition plan that will start when I retire in January of 2027. How we
084plan to move forward with the district related to grant writing, grant management, those things that I know are concerns with what we do when that money isn't readily coming in. And that is all outlined in the transition plan as well. that goes from January till I leave at the end of June. So I thought that was all important to do so that we can actually start looking at timelines and developing that change. So that is what I took from my evaluation and again I appreciated the honesty and I appreciated the feedback. All right. I was asked by a community member if I could address the teacher shortage using data rather than this is what's happening and so I ran the state data and I ran Lockwood's data. Lockwood has been consistently within 1% turnover of
085the state average and sadly what that means is every district in the state is experiencing high rates of turnover. Sadly, in the highest turnover rate is teachers in their first five years who are choosing to leave the profession completely, not from anything we're doing. They're discovering that maybe that's not the route they want to go. They're going in back and getting degrees in other areas or completely changing their career path. This used to happen a little bit. Now, it's become a common trend across the nation, but in Montana, it's really affecting our ability to keep teachers. We had teachers that have been here for 40 years. I don't know if that will ever that level to a district. Um the district is in process of working out the details to make our healthcare career pathways
086when you talked about that. Um Miss McKenzie next month will provide a detailed report on the Lockwood bill levy breakdown. So, we'll be able to present to the community where the tax money, how much tax money comes in, where that comes from, how much we get from the meals you guys pay because we all know that there was that tax shortage. And I was contacted by our representative Mike Benton. He asked me how we were doing with that and I said we had had a contingency plan because we didn't know at the time what the county or the state was going to do. So he asked that if anybody in the community wanted to have questions answered about that process because it was not district initiated could please reach out to him. His number is
087here in my report and he would be more than happy to answer questions about where that's at from his point of view which I really appreciate it because we really didn't have a lot of information on our he has a better perspective and a clear communication line than we would get. Um, we also met with Representative Sue Venton, Senator Sue Vton and discussed some of the des dennial funding meetings that have gone on across the state and um, she had updates for us. She is going to send us more information when she gets back to her next meeting. Um, in relation to adopting policy 2700 AI integration, here are some future thinking sent from our tech department. They outline the things that we they think that are the most important. They're very much in support
088of adopting the policy on AI, but very much want us to consider these things as we go through and develop that policy for Lockwood. This is not a request to do that in consideration of adopting it, but the direction we take as we develop our policies related to that. And I appreciate the time they put into this um resignation. Darling SRT coordinator has resigned, retired, I should say resigned, but she's retiring. And we have a teacher that has in the middle school has also indicated that she's resigning and the dates that are on the meeting schedule were on the agenda report. That's a lot. I'm sorry. It's a lot of any questions. All right. Next, we're going to go to board goals have not changed. Gold gold and gavvel education hours. I think everybody's right
089there. There may be one or two that just a couple like a half hour show. So, we're getting there. >> Y we're way ahead of previous years. >> I just told them again. And how many you have? >> 12. You're good. Uh next we're going to set a date for the board work session. This work session is going to go over uh responsibilities of board chair, vice chair and the uh trustees. Also we will be going over 1700s. So is anybody what are we looking at? April March going for a week. Okay. Let's do April. Has anybody got a week in April that is not good for them? >> Are we trying to meet in the evening or >> Yeah, probably the evening or like 4ish. >> Okay. Weekend six is out. How about the
090>> before the board meeting alone? It might take >> to go through everything or at least get a start on schedule >> about the 21st. >> Yeah, I can do earlier on. >> Okay. >> 5:30. >> Yeah. at 5:30 >> right now >> Christie. >> Okay. I will reach out to NPSA to see if we can have somebody not physically come, but we can have somebody virtually come. >> Estimated time >> 5:30 >> 2 hours. >> Yeah. >> We need another one. >> Okay. Uh next budget committee. Our next meeting is the 17th at 5:00 pm. Um career fair corey unfortunately is not here negotiations committee >> uh we have not heard anything from the par union and eventually we'll be holding a public meeting for about the director's matrix >> that's not scheduled >>
091yeah so just a quick question on that because uh I mean I know we haven't got that scheduled yet um but I did see on the budget committee meeting that that's when it's going to be discussed. So, we might just I I guess we just need to understand from a negotiations committee. >> We're we're going to try to figure out what we might actually afford if anything for the for the director's matrices and then you guys will be able to negotiate. >> Okay. So, that Okay. So, >> so when you're going to the negotiation portion of it, Dean and everything's already been done. >> Okay. Yeah, the the par union chose to start the launch we did. So we can't wait until all that's done. So we're just putting things out there that we >>
092No, and that's fine. I just wanted to make sure that understood that the budget committee is going to get an idea of what's >> Yeah. >> And then we'll schedule our negotiations committee meeting. >> Yep. >> publicly. Okay. >> That way we don't have to keep going back and forth between the two committees. >> Yeah, that's fine. I just, like I said, I saw it on here and that was weird. So, >> uh, next community engagement, let's hear about the children. >> Yeah, less than a month away from the winter game night. We're hoping for big turnout because it's going to be free to Lockwood um, kids and their families. It's going to have some hopefully some community and club made chili and we're going to do a bunch of games. Got quite a few.
093I should pull it up. I think we've got about 12 clubs and organizations right now, but that's continuing to grow. So, I think there's going to be a lot of games for kids to play. We have silent auction. So, um community, even if you're not a club organization, anybody out here in the crowd or in the board knows, uh local businesses that would be willing to host a potted philly and or silent auction items, they're welcome to do a game too if they want. Businesses probably just would like um focus on the other part. So really this we're going to hit the ground running this month. It's kind of been the hurry up and wait until we can really kind of do the final big push. Our last meeting planning meeting is on the 3rd
094of March at 6 PM in the comments. So anybody wants to come for that. I'm going to be reaching out to board members with your assigned tasks. And then um yeah, please reach out community members or if you know anybody that would be willing to sponsor or be involved in anyway. >> Thank you. Next is the consent consent agenda. Any issue with the consent agenda as presented? Any issue with consent agenda as presented? Any issue with consent agenda as presented? Hearing no issue with consent present consent is adopted. Next we have a policy readings everybody's favorite. This is approved second readings. Second let me >> uh we did reach out to MTSBA and they said we didn't have to have our own form. They said just put the signature block at the bottom. >> They
095did it for us. Yeah, it was our updated policy. >> So, >> perfect. >> We did do that. Uh, I will take motions on approval of second readings of policies 1401 through 5450 P1. I got a motion from Shane. Second from Stacy. Discussion from the public. Got from the board. >> I had a couple of questions. >> Okay. >> Um on 2335, >> it was an edit to the current policy um recommended that the district went with with option two. And so in I just wanted to clarify in this policy in here it has option one and option two. So and an option three I guess. So if their recommendation from MTSBA is to go with option two then I think that needs to be clarified in our motion. >> Okay. >> Right. >> And
096I mean everybody agrees. I didn't see anything wrong with option two. I the claim is telling me what it looked better. Now I have the option to choose the other ones but they're >> right and since they're all in there I think that that was >> I was just waiting if anybody had question before we now you guys can decide which that was the recommendation so I didn't change >> yeah and I mean again from my perspective of reading option through the option option two didn't seem like there was any concern with that one but I did see that we needed to choose an option So therefore >> we can amend the motion to approve policy 2335 number two. >> Is that >> Yeah, that was in the recommendation my guidance to go with option
097two when you did the first reading. >> And then the only other question I had was on 3665 and it doesn't change the motion. It's just a question. >> Okay. >> Of who does the review. >> So I think the the fingerprinting background >> that goes to myself. Lisa receives it because she's sent to me. Mr. Tin is also qualified to review and sign off on those. I believe >> everyone in the office has >> who's allowed to review those the results. >> Okay, >> sounds good. That's I just curious who who was that person. >> Okay, so I have a modification of a motion uh that it came dropped forward and Stacy seconded policy 2335. of uh acceptance of option number two. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Sorry, just one one more. >> Um on
098the vacation and sick leave 2158 policy, um we don't have any conf conflicting um calculations with ours recommendation and we have to go by the CDA and so it's already in our handbook. >> Yep. And so that's their suggestion. The CDA does. >> Okay. So, >> okay. It stays. Okay. That's what I wanted to make sure. Thank you. >> Now I'm done. >> Okay. >> Any other questions from the public? Any other questions from the board? All those in favor of adopting the second reading of policies with the exception policy number 2335 with option number two say I. I. All those post same sign. Hearing none motion passes. Next we have the first readings of 314 3141. I' recommended that we on the first reading Josh. That's correct. >> Yeah. Changes in Mr. continue to
099do the best I can. >> Sure. So 3141's open enrollment again. Um we had discussed going back to one time of year uh of doing that. I know we've been had it one time a year. We've had it two times a year. It it'd be great if we did it one time a year and then went not in that May meeting, have it open in May and then do it in June. >> Okay. And then there's some suggestions too for the appeals process on that just to make it a little easier. I think >> is that number two. >> Yeah, the yellow is the only is the change. >> F2 is out. We don't. We don't use that. >> Okay. F2. >> Remove F2. Okay, I will entertain motions on uh approving the policy 3141
1003141P and removal of policy 3141F2 on first reading. All right. I will recommend the board approve on the first reading 1414 and removal of a motion by state and a second by Shane. Discussion from the public. Um, can I just ask you maybe a silly question, but why do you open enrollment in a month if anyone can come anytime? >> They can't come. >> Can you explain it? I just tried that. >> You you you can't come at any time. We only accept you. We after open enrollment done, if you move into the district, then we take you. If we have a teacher who starts working for us in a year, we accept them. Also, it's under the superintendent's direction. So, we only at one point per year open it up to the entire like
101Yellowstone County for them to come. >> Yes, I didn't understand that. I thought the superintendent reports that I didn't understand that if the student moves out. >> Oh, okay. >> Thank you for your understand. Thank you. Any other questions from the public discussion from the board? >> The only question I had is um and I think you can answer it probably pretty easily is why why switching to one time versus a couple of times? >> Are we eliminating >> it? Just it just seemed like it was was a little bit easier. I mean, everybody has the knowledge of when they can get in. We send it out to anybody who's on audition. Put it on the website. We put it on there. The two times was taxing for scheduling >> scheduling in the board and
102too. >> Okay. >> Mr. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Um I think it also we had a conversation and it was like why have a first deadline if you know that there's not that's really not the deadline if that makes sense. also um so it was it just didn't make sound. >> Any other discussion to the board? All of those in support of accepting policy 3141, policy 3141 P1 and the removal of policy 3141 F2 in the first reading say I. I. All those opposed same sign motion passes. Next we have OJ could have been here but he had to go do the basketball stuff. Um they want to start a Iron Lion strength club. They are going to be doing Olympic lifting, powerlifting. They are looking at doing some uh competitions. I guess that's a
103thing of lifting up everything repeatedly and the ground. >> Thank you. me uh me personally I will be watching but uh they got the bylaws and everything here. They're asking this is like when the Spanish Spanish club came we have to approve them opening the club and then we can approve them to do fundraisers and stuff which I think is kind of cool because then maybe we can host some powerlifting competitions or something here for the kids. Evidently, it is a growing sport. Um, but for me, uh, I like to watch sports. >> Yeah. Do you know when he is hoping this will begin? >> I do not know that for sure. >> I don't think that it's really gotten enough uh, information in detail for policy 3550. Okay. >> To so I would recommend
104that we table this >> and request more information. >> I don't think it would be that >> according to to that policy because it is pre-bade. >> Yep. Um if we table it, can we get uh is there anything next board meeting sportwise? So that I can ask J. >> Yeah, that's that's not a problem. You want to do that? Is that a motion? >> Yes, that's a motion. >> Okay. I have a motion to table the uh board approval live strength code for more information. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> To meet the criteria 3550 and the five steps you're making. >> Okay. >> Table more info on policy and five steps. Okay. Do I second? I will second. So I have a motion by Stacy and a second by Josh. Discussion to the public.
105Ma'am, >> do we know is this going to be high school or are we doing all? >> That is a great question. Definitely. I can say that's high school because they already have weightlifting classes in place. So this PL would be prior to school, I believe. But also, great question. We can ask J. We get more information. >> Sir, >> I have a comment if that's >> Yeah, that's fine. >> I would just like to say as a member of the public, I would really support this as it relates to developing school tradition and legacy. This is something when I was in high school was a big field. So, uh we had an iron cap club. She had meet her criteria to be. So I would be hugely in support of this. >> I think
106it'll be a good club. >> Not a problem there. >> Yeah. >> If we have it on the agenda again, I encourage you to come back and speak in support of it next month also. Okay. Discussion from the board. All those in favor of tableabling for more information on policy 3550 and the five steps say I. I. All those opposed same sign. Hearing none. Motion passes.
