They had nothing to do with the motions that were made, but there were mistakes made on the agenda last week or beginning of the week. Um as far as wording and so that's what we're here to fix. 004we are still picking up the pieces from that. So um it is vital that you listen to your administrator and follow her recommendations. >> Um I have something that is just right here. Um I'm here today to express my sincere interest in renewing my contract as school librarian. Sorry, my heart's going to be on my chest. I put up with a clean school year. This year has been incredibly rewarding and throughout the year I have built a lot of relationships in positive ways with students and staff. And I have enjoyed being in this position and learning new things along with the students, teaching them about Tennessee standards, and watching students be excited to come visit me. And I love walking in the hallways and seeing them give me hugs and wave and tell me how
005excited they are and that they have a new book or that they loved their book. I have especially enjoyed helping students develop research skills and guiding them towards books that they truly can't put down. Encouraging the love of reading and curiosity in some students is something I care about. I strive every day to make my library a place where students feel supported and inspired and successful. This year was also proud of receiving the Masonic Lodge grant for STEM and makerspace opportunities to build the library curriculum for next year, allowing us to have more hands-on learning experiences and provide students with engaging opportunities exploring creativity, problem-solving, and innovation. In addition to my work in the library, I've also loved being part of our title program, supporting students in their classroom, collaborating with teachers, and helping assist
006students succeed with their learning tasks and strength strengthening my connection to our school community and reinforcing my passion for education. I would be honored to continue serve as our school librarian and keep this sharing the love of learning with our students and staff. I'm committed to growing our library and supporting students achievement and fostering meaningful relationships throughout the school. Thank you for your time consideration and continued support.
