Pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> Moving on the consent agenda. Do I have a motion to approve the April 20, 2026 school board meeting minutes? So moved. >> Is there a second? >> Second. >> All those in favor? >> I opposed abstain. Vote carries 32. Moving on to B. Joint quarterly meeting minutes April 23rd, 2026. >> So moved. Any discussion? All those in favor? I opposed. Abstain. Carries. 32. No business report. Patty, that's what you told us this time. >> Yeah. So I don't have one. >> That's fine. We just got back from vacation. >> Yeah. So, but I'll contribute to the facilities conversation because we have a couple >>

additions. >> Yeah. >> I'm moving on to new business LHS DBNS program of studies and class of 2030 requirements. >> So, just present or do you have questions? Sorry. >> Take it away. >> Okay. So to to start with the social studies um it went from three and a half credits to five and we had discussions with the social studies department and with Al Smith and we talk about how if we embed the classes together that it's very complicated from school to school. Yes, you can put it in the program studies, you know, to say what it is like that those classes fall in that, but it's not a very clean way of doing it. So, just looking to redistribute things. So, we have like world history, which is the requirement now that we have,

we're going to keep that freshman year. And then there's going to be a US history, they call it one, and that's going to be the US history and New Hampshire history. Then we're going to have a second US history and that will be New Hampshire government and constitution. Those are the school that is the state requirements of what they're requiring. So that will be another full credit. There will be a civics and economics credit which is one credit and again the civics you have to take the civics exam and pass with 70. So that's also a requirement. Um and then logic and rhetoric will be one credit. So in some schools they're embedding and they're doing it in English or they're doing it in social studies but it's not real clean and again people would

have to spend the time to look from state like if they don't know what our like if a student moves to Vermont which happens a lot here they would have to pull the program studies and research it to to determine that. So we're just trying to make it easier and it in a way that the staff knows exactly what they need to do to accomplish it. So it'll be broken down in all four four years with the um logic and rhetoric. We really want to have seniors just because it's going to be a more complex topic and to you know as it's fresh as they leave the area but there'll be a breakdown and again like as kids come into to schedule we'll tell them kind of like what to do so they're not waiting

till senior year to do all five credits. And as in regards to, you know, the math is another area that they added statistics. So already the Wilton Academy has created a statistics class for the academy. We're working on we have an early college statistics class, but we're going to have to implement a statistics class for, you know, the not kids for the students who don't want to take the college level class. Um, I guess it I mean, do you have any questions as far as I had a question, but it's probably a little stupid. Um because I I read about the honors program and the you know anybody that's come and up can graduate in the honors program but I didn't see if there's what's the the lowest score in order to attain the 28

credits to graduate. I mean is is is anyone that just takes the courses able to graduate or do they have to meet a certain requirement? So they have to successfully pass each of the classes to earn the 28 credits in the areas that they that are required between the school board what has been determined as well as with the state to get the 28. As far as the 30 credit you have to have a 3.5 GPA and then you also have to have um it's set 10 credits which it's 10 high school credits. So, one has to be an AP class and the other nine classes are early college honors classes, which sounds like a lot like that can't be attainable, but it was easily like we you um the school board approved it I

think last year or two years ago and we already had enough the kids in this year's current class was able to get. So, it is doable and um I think that it's helped the students push themselves a little bit more and instead of taking when when I first came here there was a lot of um delayed entries and early release like kids wanted that you know four blocks a day kind of thing and that has stopped you know because of that or it's gone down quite a bit. I think that's good. But you could graduate with a 0.5 GPA. >> I mean, not really because in order to you have to have the, you know, the 1.5 to pass a class. So, the GPA doesn't determine the whether you I mean, you have to pass

the class to get the credit. So for the class of 2030, it's going to be a lot more complicated. So this program of studies is a lot of what you what was what was approved last year. There was big changes knowing that it was coming that so much was going to happen. So you know, there's still a little bit that needs to be updated. There's a career readiness every other day. We see we hear of something else. So, I'll I'll stay on top of that and keep updating and keep informing. But the 2030 um when I want to have a meeting with the parents before they enter school, like right as schools opening with a mini version of the program of studies that just deals with their requirements because there's so much different than the

other classes. I felt like putting it all together, I've looked at a bunch of different programs of studies throughout the state and the ones that try to put it all in, it's really complicated. So, you have to, you know, read the fine line at the bottom of the the uh course descriptions to find that. Um, this you'll see in the program studies, we also included the syllabus and the competencies under each course description. And we did that because there's been a lot of talk about how are we going to handle this? If a student transfers to White Mountain Regional three or four weeks into it, how do because it's now all competency based, how are we going to provide them with the information of what we've covered. So you know when that those questions have

come up from a school that is insistent that they have that information to see if the student has caught up we've gone to the student I mean to the teacher and then tried to provide it to the teachers but sometimes that takes you know three four days to get that information. So this way that this whoever is going to contact us, we're going to refer to the program of studies and teachers are aware that they're going to have to update that. It's a live document. So when they make changes to their document, it will make changes to the program studies that's online. >> Any other questions? >> No, I thought that was very clear. >> Thank you. I'm a little How many credits are required to graduate on a state level? >> So the state

there's 20 is the minimum required. >> 20 is the minimum. Okay. And does that is that differentiate between if you're going to college or if you're going to tech school? No difference. It's funny. >> So I mean Littleton before I came here had the 28 requirements. >> Yeah. So every school district has their option to choose what. So I mean I've worked in schools that had 26 24 and then I've worked at some that had 32. >> So we have the running start program which is which I think is fantastic. So why have so many electives when we now have a running start program? Should we cut on electives and give them free time for running start? Would that make more sense >> if they if they were collegebound? So the thing about the early

college, I mean the concern about that is just like those online classes. It's really important that like this year we allowed them to leave and do them from home. And there were some students that that did that. Fantastic. And then there's others that need that monitoring and this, you know, like me being because I'm the coordinator, me going into the library and sitting with them and saying, "Hey, can I because I I have no way of knowing what their grades are. When I first did started this job, you we could log in as them like that was part of the process. They had to provide the password and username. Parents agree to it. There it's part of a contract, but there's no longer that." And what happens is let's say you know um if Dale

um like somebody came into my office and said okay yes you have permission here's my password and username. As soon as I try to log in as them the computer knows that it's not the student. So then they have to get a code to their phone and then they have to give it to me. That never happens. Like even if they mean to because this clears them it doesn't happen. So, I mean, I think that as far as I think it's I think utilizing the staff we have that have master's degrees. I think that the classes we're offering right now with the psychology and the um sociology because that is classes that I think that almost every major will require. You know, we have had the college comp. Statistics is another class that a lot

of students have to take. Those classes have been really helpful to see if they can do it with support here at the school. But I would caution to just say, okay, you know, no more electives here and just do the online because some students will do that very well and some will not. And I think that the trade school students probably more than anything. I think the CTE program here is unbelievable. And I think that, you know, trying like we've pushed it ahead so sophomores are taking it more and it's good. Sometimes the maturity needs a little bit of help, but then if they didn't like it the sophomore year, then they get another chance to take it their junior year, then another senior year, and they're still doing the completing. The students who said

in freshman year, I don't want to go to college. I don't want to do training. I don't want to, you know, that those kids are not saying that anymore. So, I think for a small school, there's a lot of diversity and I think that's a wonderful thing. >> Okay. Thank you. So, do I have a motion to approve the LHS DEMS program of studies in class of 2030 requirements as presented? >> So moved. >> Second. >> Any discussion? All those in favor? I opposed abstain. Motion carries. 30. >> Thank you very much. >> The next one is title grants acceptance. It's beep but there's nothing to click on as >> actually if you go to the updated agenda it should it should be live. I've got the CTE transfer education aid grant that's clickable but

um in the updated one I don't see >> oh >> the B title grants acceptance >> hold on let me fix it >> and anything that I can click on and look at >> there's an internal agenda >> it's not on the request to vote either I just didn't know >> yeah I didn't I didn't get that in last week >> you were in Florida that's okay Yeah, >> I don't think we're going to approve the preliminary allocations anyway. So, we won't approve them until we act grant management system. Then we'll accept them. >> Move that to next meeting. Then moving on to C 2526 CTE transportation aid grant. We have norelle speak to it. Is there anything She just >> Yeah. 69,116 and 11 cents. >> Yeah, that's the reallocation. We actually had to

apply for it. So funds that weren't expended at other districts or monies that were left from the state budget get reallocated and it is competitive. Um the last time we received this um I think we were able to offset um some CTE transportation that we provided to a student that was um in Vermont I believe and we were able to offset those expenses. Um I know I wish she was here to talk about it, but she did um speak to the fact that she kind of wanted to buy her own CTE van. So that um because we've had some issues where when we were building like the sheds um where he needed to transport the kids back and back and forth and we didn't have a van available because it was being used for other

things. So, she had talked about it, but we haven't gone formal. I know that was written in part of the grant. Um, but we haven't we don't know. We didn't know if we were going to get it or not. You know, you never know how much exactly would be allocation's going to be. So, I'm pretty sure this is the full amount we applied for though. So, >> good transport question. The kids that choose to go to take college courses on campus, do we provide the transportation or do they have to provide? >> No, we would not provide that transportation. >> Yeah, Michelle, next time you can talk a little bit more about the grant and >> this is just accepting it. >> Yeah, if you don't mind accepting it, but $69,000 personally. >> Yeah. >>

So, if we have a motion to accept the 2526 CTE transportation aid grant in the amount of $69,11611. >> So, moved. >> Second. >> Any discussion? All those in favor? I post abstain. Motion carries 30. Unfinished business. Teacher residency. >> Yeah, we have a uh a meeting. We do we do have four uh individuals who've accepted uh to be residents uh next year and they will be coming to Lakeway this Wednesday uh the afternoon and at that point they'll get to meet their their cooperate teachers the classroom teachers they'll be spending most of their time with they'll get to meet the uh the uh special ed teachers that'll also be served as their mentors and of course uh you'll see the building a little bit and meet meet some of the other teachers and of

course the administration and Then the other thing that takes place that day is they will go to rail trail and uh tour rail trail and then they get to actually see one of the rooms uh like the ones that they will be using this year. >> Have you figured out the other two yet? >> We we actually have access to four rail trail now. So we're in good shape there. >> Nice. >> So that's the next step of the of the process. Hi Greg. uh with with a residency program. >> No further budget on the residency program >> committee reports negotiations. We didn't have any facilities. It looked like we had a couple of late additions. >> Facilities hasn't met, but these are proposals that we asked um Dale to to get for us. So

these are actually the proposals that he received. One for the basically the others and hot water system. >> Dale, do you want to speak on these? >> Sure. I'll start with the uh academy that that's the one that the committee has um approved to move forward. Not necessarily the amount we had estimated at 75,000. Um it's one of the items on the capital improvement plan. Um we received uh three bids. Um the recommendation that that I would have um as the director of facilities operations would be the VHV bid which I did update about 10 minutes before this. The original amount in there was 78,000 and change and after talking with them today it's 75949. So they got closer to our $75,000 um amount. Um, and the one thing I omitted in my emails to

Patty and uh Steve and Marian today were was the fact that we had our hair inspection last week, which is required every 3 years um for asbestous. And the gentleman from RPF Environmental recommends that any large projects like this in older buildings should have um like insulation or tiling tested. even if you think it's safe. So, um I have asked for a proposal to test the insulation on the basically 2 ft of insulation that they would touch to replace the two boilers. All the piping is remaining the same. It's just where the boilers would fit. Um so, I don't have that updated amount for that. He gave us a ballpark of $2,500 per test, but he said that was probably high and he wasn't the guy that would do it. So, So, we don't we

don't have any historical records that show that that's been tested previously. Okay. Okay. It almost seems like it would be just as easy to have somebody come in and put two feet and remove it as an ACM versus going through and testing. And then it is ACM than having it somebody else come in and remove it. >> Just get rid of it. >> Yeah. Because it's under three feet. So, it's a maintenance type task anyway. So, >> um they're going to they're going to bag it and treat it just like it was asbestous and pull it out. Um because it's it's got to go in order for us to do the replacements anyway. So, I don't know. Your thoughts on that, Dale? They just did that. That's what they did for removal of the tile

at the academy. They did it as an ACM local. So they didn't have to go through all the the bells and whistles. >> They just did it. They did file it with the state. So we're not breaking any rules. >> Yeah. So I again it's a very um um small area that would be affected. Um, we could I can definitely get an estimate as to what it would cost to do the three square feet or the three linear feet. It's not square obviously. Um, to give that as a comparison to doing the testing >> unless we don't unless we want to know if it the rest of it has asbestous in it because we don't have any documentation. >> Is it a summer project? >> I'm sorry. >> Is this a summer project? Uh they

would yeah ideally start this as soon as school concludes but we'll have to remove some in order to do the replacement but everything else even because as long as it's not breaking apart um it can be left in place. So there's no um we probably ought to go with having it tested because there's other areas in there. This way here we know exactly what we've done. That would be my recommendation. >> There's about 80. >> Yeah. >> Insulation. >> A lot of times it's uh corners and T's. That's where my boiler room is where I'm working right now. We're going to ask this being the project starting next Monday. >> Any questions on that project before I talk about that? >> Just the one question. So, it's not the 78792. It' be the 75949. >>

Correct. >> Sorry, that was updated. >> 10 minutes before I came upstairs. >> I think she's going to update right now for me by the looks of it. >> I'll keep asking. >> I've got it written down, but >> pretty good. So the the two we received two proposals for um >> 75949. >> That's correct. Yeah. >> 75949. >> 749. >> I like 749 too. >> 495. >> Um so uh both RFPs were out for almost five weeks. Um, we did we did do a 10-day extension two weeks ago to move it to last Friday the 1st, which is why these were updated later because at the time we had one bid for each and we I knew we were going to get two more for the boilers. I wasn't certain about the gym floor.

Um, so again, this is an item that's on our CIP for 2627. Uh I'll note uh the one quote from uh New England Sports Floors uh for 174800 is the only quote of the two that could be completed this summer. The other quote that we received from the other vendor did note that they would not be able to do it until the summer of 27. Um to be fully transparent, the bid for that would be for next year um is 467,000 because you have to add up the materials and labor, the floor, and also the tear out of the gym floor. Um, they're estimating that the entire subfloor, the 36,750 that you see there, they're estimating that that entire subfloor has to be replaced. We don't think that that's the case. We do think it's

going to need repairs um and some moisture mitigation. Um, that is not in the other quote. That's a time and materials. But just so you have a rough figure, that's 30 with 36,750 by the other company. Otherwise, one quote is 174800 and the other quote is 467,900 for the same thing. >> And we did not have a price which was the main reason for doing this. Um the only additional thing was the third quote that you see in there. that's our bleacher company to make the bleachers movable um and also reinstall the bleachers after. Um they were less expensive than both of the companies that would be putting the floor down. So um that was the other item in the documentation. And I will note that this is the same price that New England Sports

Floors provided um last year as an estimate. They did not change it. Um the other company originally provided an estimate of $217,000 that's now $467,000 the same time last year. >> Yeah. I I think she messed that up. >> I I >> because the square because the cost is 28.50 and that is those four eight four areas. I think she messed something. I asked for clarification and she said I had to add all the numbers together >> because I said total the 215 does not add up to the ones above >> and she said no that's assuming that every square inch of the subfloor and everything would have to be down down I couldn't believe there was that much of a difference either That's all I have, but I'm happy to answer any questions. Um

Dale on the on the quote from New England Sports Florida, he's got exclusions at the bottom, the four of them. >> Yes. >> Do we have a cost of what those four exclusions will be? And are they necessary? Because you know, moisture mitigation, concrete slab patching, repairing, filling, leveling, grinding, performance, and payment bonds. So, the best estimate that I could provide would be the estimate from the other quote for the laser leveling of the slab >> at 36 at $3.50 per square foot. >> Okay. >> Um, if that's um 500 square foot of the gym versus 7500 foot of the gym, that's all that we would be built with the with the current company or with the um New England Sports Force company. Um, and it appears it's common, I didn't know this, never replaced

the gym floor, that it comes with um like a six mill poly um water mitigation system between the floor. And then once that's down, they actually test the ratio. And it says that in the um the other quote that if the if it reads higher than four and a half percent um then they would add more but that that's included with all gym floors or new standard practice with gym floors now. So >> that's good. >> So should we have them approve like up to 200,000 then? >> That would probably be safe. >> Yeah. do. Look, they've got a $30,000 amount under the uh >> Dan. >> Mhm. >> They've got $30,000 for m for um moisture mitigation allowance >> because that's not include is that did you even include that in the total for

when you gave us the the um >> No, because that's only required if the six mill isn't sufficient. Fair enough. >> Okay. >> Right. I was thinking if they had to do any leveling um they put on here they were leveling the whole floor the 36,000 I can't imagine the whole floor is going to need to be leveled it's probably worst case scenario the other so I would think that 25,000 would enough. Any other discussion? So, we want to make that 1798 200,000 instead. >> Yeah. Up to Yeah, if you don't mind. >> Motion to approve up to $200,000 for the LHS gym floor replacement proposal for New England sports floors and A+ athletics as presented. Make the motion. >> Is there a second? >> Second. >> Any discussion? All those in favor? >> I

opposed. Abstain. Vote carries 40. Motion to approve the academy boiler and hot water heater proposal from DHB in the amount of $75,949 as presented. >> So move second. Any discussion? All those in favor? I opposed abstain. Motion carries 4. >> Thank you. >> Can I ask one more question? I might have missed it, so I apologize if you said at the beginning, but um Patty was that the funding for both of those was coming from >> I was going to take it from fund balance. Um we have um six 600 I didn't redo it yet this week this week, but we had um over 650,000. >> Okay. And if we took those projects, we're still looking at 300 plus. >> Okay. I was hoping that was the answer. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Because

we are trying to build the other fund up, >> right? >> Um so that we don't have to put money in it to expend it every single year. You know, that kind of defeats our purpose that we're trying to build it up for. So, >> thank you. >> You're welcome. >> Moving on to C policies. like policy BDF advisory committees to the board. Does anyone want to speak to that? So, the policy committee didn't meet last Thursday. We can't remember the date. Uh we reviewed this policy and you see the addition was the words that are in blue um to add to it for clarification regarding ad hoc committees and expectations. Everything else remain the same. We do these one at a time. >> Yes. >> Any other discussion on that one? >> And these

are ad hoc committees that are separate of the actual board committees. Yes, >> they all set for a specific person that go away. >> Any other questions? >> Looks like on the very the policy GBA says not recommended by the policy committee. >> Correct. >> So is that one we want to do separate benefits? Well, so it's not recommended. We'll have to vote on it. >> Okay. >> Yeah, I'll put that in there just as a note. >> We're going to vote on all at the same time. Does anyone want to discuss appendix BDF- R1 advisory committees to the board template for board committees, which is a continuation of the policy BDF. >> So, this gives us a a template, something to to go by as far as when we uh put committees together. Okay.

And so it's a it's a guideline for us to use for giving them their assignments. >> Does there need to >> what the expectations are? >> Does there need to be something specific that states you can't have that you wouldn't have more than two board members on any of these committees? Otherwise, if you go to three, it's actually meeting. >> Yeah. >> And I think that's I don't know if that's stated in the board committee have a reading it quickly. I don't remember seeing it that it specifies that. But here it says membership um it says voting members shall include and it leaves it blank school board members but it needs to be no more than two unless there's an exception to that. I don't think there is. Right. >> You can't you can't have

a core. It's >> not either. the catch. Craig here. I thought that was there. >> I think it's there on the board committees. >> The PDF? >> No, not Well, PDF is the one we just looked at prior to I didn't see it on there when I read that, but I meant the actual >> Okay. >> board committees that specify, you know, um >> facilities. Okay. >> I think I think it's on that policy. But we should we should probably match whatever language is on that to this. >> And is there I know we're looking to do something with this committee because we're looking to do a subcommittee correct committee for for >> right. So, can this wait until the next board meeting or can we approve it pending the matching of that language from

the current policy around the the actual board committees? >> What we then say then we could at least save having to wait two weeks to approve the board approve the policy. >> I think you can approve it. You just say >> pending pending. Well, just um with the language that >> can't be, >> right? Yeah. >> I just added this sentence. So, you want to take a look at V BDF um just take a look at that. >> I just put that very first paragraph. Um ad hoc committee shall not have more than four two board members. >> Yeah, I see it. >> And then the that's right before the ultimate authority. So, >> so now we can do that percent. >> So, that will fix that. Good for catching that. Great. >> Great. Yeah.

>> Do we need to make any change to the to the appendix of the >> That's just a procedure. It's just a temp just to >> refer back to the actual policy. >> Yeah. >> So, we didn't like the JBA, but the JB age of entry survived and adopted March 2, 2015. Is that one we need to discuss? >> That's that is our current >> Okay. policy. That's what you're going to keep. >> Yeah. You're on J right now. >> J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J J JB is what we have in place. >> Yeah. >> So that would need to be voted on since it's already in place and I'm recommending adopting the update. >> Yeah, it's it's already in place.

We don't have to vote on it. Only thing we have to vote is only only thing we need to vote on if we decide wanted to have a JBA instead. That's one that has a different criteria. So it wasn't recommended by the policy committee. >> So any other discussion on the policies? >> Just have one question. Um Steve on the Jed policy that's the age of entrance. Yeah. >> Do we have a separate policy that verifies >> um their town that they are residents of Littleton? >> There is a policy for that. >> So it's separate. And how and how often is that revisited? How often do we verify that? >> The the policy. How often do we verify patients patients? Sorry, I got my hospital out. Yeah. How often do we do we visit

a student's residency? >> Um should be good. >> Yeah. Yeah. I mean I mean it's part of enrollment. We don't other than that we don't we don't really do anything during the year to validate they're still there. Okay. >> We we have a case tonight we'll be talking about that we're you know we find out. But as far as >> we do do it annually. >> We do. Yeah. That's for that part of every the registration process. >> That's the only question I have. >> And they have to reregister every year. >> They do. >> Yeah. >> Any other questions? >> So, do I have a motion to approve the first reading in amendments and adopt for policy BDF, advisory committees to the board, appendix BDF-R1, advisory committees to the board, template for board committees.

So that's presented. >> So moved. >> Is there a second? >> Second. >> Any discussion? All those in favor? I opposed. Abstain. Vote carries. 4 Z. >> Seeing no student representative, we will move to the superintendence report. >> Okay. Just a few items here. This is employee recognition week. You may see it referred to as teacher appreciation week and we absolutely appreciate the efforts of the teachers but we also realize that it's a big it's a shared responsibility of a number of different employees and to make the the organization work uh effectively it we recognize everybody custodians uh lunch cafeteria personnel perry educators administrative assistants and so on. there's a administrator. So we uh we did there are activities going on in the buildings to uh to recognize employees and some nice things happening there.

So uh and then as we have done in the past we did order a little little gift basket to the employees on behalf of the board and the administrative staff. So want to thank thank everybody and for for working with the Littleton school district and appreciate the effort that everybody makes. Uh last time it was requested we do some transition planning and which we have been doing but do a bit of a report. So that will be coming not not tonight but on the May 18th um with from Mel and from Crystal. Um and and then the other thing, this is some of the things that Marian wanted to make sure I shared with you. Um we visit every classroom, the high school, middle school, elementary school. Marian's been in all those places already. Uh

as has Lauren, she did a good job touring also. Um, and so, you know, having been a part of those and in different different phases of those, it's been a good opportunity for people to meet Marian and her get a sense of of the the buildings and and she did pass the the uh the uh qu the pop quiz on to write a an exact replica of the floor plan of the basement and she actually nailed that the first time through. So, see you that was that was impressive to say the least. That's also not the truth, but no, I I made that up. But, uh, she got to see all of it and including the academy building. So, that was that was been a good process and we've been meeting working together a couple

times a week and we'll continue that into the future. And then the comprehensive needs assessment we're working on with our title grants and uh also working with deciding the activities that we'll be funding and prioritizing uh in the in the future. We'll be reporting back to the board on that. There's a couple of calendar links there for you to keep a breast of everything happening uh on the uh on the agendas for the remaining six weeks of classes. um legislation, who who'd have thought of, but open enrollment looks to be pretty much I I don't want to say it's dead. It's definitely pause at this point. Uh what's interesting in that process, there's I think there's 24 uh legislators that change changed their vote uh not to in the house not to move it forward,

you know. And I think that again I think as people start took more time and started looking I can't I don't know what was the motivation for it but I think there are some significant ramifications uh with that bill as it has has been presented. I will say that there were efforts made I think to address some of those concerns uh through the legislative process. So we'll see where it goes. Uh either way, we're we're protected from, you know, losing students and having to write or pay tuition, open enrollment because of the uh the ward article that we passed along with a number of other districts in the state. The joint quarterly uh meeting, you got the minutes of that. I don't I defer to to Bill and Lauren if you want to share anything

with the board with the those who may be watching or watching the recording. >> Highlights. Um, I thought the meeting went quite positive compared to some of our past meetings. So, that was a good thing. Um, obviously a lot of concerns out there as far as with taxes and taxes going up again. >> Um, one of the good newses good news that we heard at the meeting outside of what was going on with school is the fact that the they've got grant money coming in for the sewer project, which is going to be huge. Um that'll definitely have a positive impact on our >> um taxes coming up. Um can't think of anything else off the top of my head. >> Yeah, I think that that's that's a lot of it. I mean, we shared

shared a little bit about the you know, the superintendent of services next year. some of the things that that that the board has asked Mary to work on now and going into next year. I think that was well received. A lot of you know a lot of questions coming our way is coming from the budget committee. They they want to see more efforts made toward regionalization and sharing of programs and staff that continues to come up and came up a little bit the other night. But uh yeah, I would agree. It was a pretty positive meeting overall. It stayed within the timeline which was good. The other thing uh just for show asked me to confirm the ATN graduation board speaker for I think Bill you had said you planned on that which >> I

planned on it but I'm not available. >> Okay. >> So >> are you still willing? >> What's the date on that again? >> Um >> May 21st in the envelope. >> May 21st at 6 o'clock. I believe I can do that. Okay. Just make sure I'm looking the right >> right now. I'm set to do the the high school graduation. >> I should be able to do the 24. >> Yeah. Gravit is good for high school. Six months. >> Six months is what the invitation says. >> Beautiful. Thank you. And that's ATM, correct? I'll text Crystal or test text that I know she's worried about. >> What's that? >> Yes. >> I think that's that's all I have for the superintendent report. Thank you. Great. >> Thank you, Steve. Moving on to public input. >>

I I have some public input. I'd like to follow up on uh >> Please state your name for the record. >> Joseph Barton uh State Representative Littleton 12 Street. Uh last week I I um I raised concerns about uh Superintendent Anastasia coming to our district. Um, I wanted to follow that up with the actual uh ethics complaint that I spoke about and put that into the public record. Uh I also spoke about the uh rising um legal costs uh defending her actions uh against me uh and and my daughter um which I have here in the amount of $13,000 one a second firm has not invoiced the district because they don't want to disclose how much they're they're uh paying or they will be uh paying them. So, um, they haven't actually invoiced the district

because they know that I'm looking at the at the legal fees. So, I'd like to put those in the public record uh, too. Um, the the other thing that I wanted to say is uh, SAU 36 has uh, um, historically performed well below the state average. Uh, SAU 84 has performed at the average. So, under Marian Anastasia's long tenure with SAU36, uh, the achievements of White Mountain Bounds Regional School District has been subpar, and I think that you should all know that. And with that, I'd just like to put these in the public record. >> Thank you. That's all. Thank you. With that, I'll be looking for a properly worded motion to take us into non-public session. >> I making a motion to enter into non-public session under paragraph 2 section 3 of RSA 91A3

of the right to no law for number one the dismissal, promotion or compensation of any public employee or the disciplining of such employee or the investigation of any charges against him or her. Number two, the hiring of any person as a public employee. Number three, matters which if discussed in public would likely adversely affect reputation of any other person other than a member of this board. Is there any other that we need to consider? Okay, we taking with us Superintendent Miles, Superintendent Anastasia, and our business manager Ed Brown. Second. >> All those in favor? Roll call vote. Bill Genroier >> Greg Travis Howard public
