president of the student council co-marketer of the yearbook club a member of the television production team and a member of the field hockey basketball and lacrosse teams this year i also led the freshman orientation program it was so nice to witness the excitement of new students first hand this year we had the highest percent of participation by the class of 2025. i am excited for this year and for the great opportunity to serve my peers school and community academic academically wall high school students are off to a great start we are getting back into the swing of the new school year even though the weather still makes it feel like summer we are grateful to be back in school full time we are thankful for our dedicated teachers and supportive administrators at the wall heist
that wall high school helped plan for the opening of the 2021-2022 school year and created a schedule and environment where our students can thrive as a whole we are looking forward to a successful year in terms of school life we always have a lot going on our class officers and student council are planning in are in the planning stages of our annual pep week activities and homecoming game and our athletic teams are off to a great start our students wasted no time in acclimating back to a normal school day thank you so much mr ednesio superintendent handerhand and members of the board of education for this wonderful opportunity to serve as the alternate student representative for the 2021-2022 school year i look forward to providing more details more detailed information as the year progresses thank
you does anybody have any questions how are you guys doing in field hockey uh we're undefeated very nice yeah all right if nothing else you are free to go and i'm sure you probably have some homework and some other fun things to do yes thank you so much thank you alison thanks alison thank you principal sergio for coming out tonight can't wait to see you back all right um i'd like to mention that i read something this morning and i forgot to mention to dr hannahan that the wall township school district was uh ranked third best school district in monmouth county i don't know if you saw that it was a niche put it out and they uh we were number three um we have more students than number one and number two i believe
number one was homedell and number two i'm not sure but i just wanted to acknowledge that and uh it's because of our staff our great teachers um and all the support staff behind them that uh certainly put us up in these rankings uh year after year so thank you to all them uh with that board of education updates mr krupa i just have a couple of things to share we did make contact with the new jersey school boards association with regards to self-evaluation which is the board self-evaluation so the email was sent regarding the timeline for that to everyone and it is a process which involves a lot of reflection and hopefully leads to some introspection and increased attention to our goals as we look forward to this rest of this coming year so that
was one thing i wanted to mention i also wanted to mention that the county meeting the new jersey school board's monmouth county meeting is i believe on the 28th an invite was sent they are addressing they're addressing how to manage communications with the community um in example discussions over math mandate will take place and they offer both the virtual and in-person option so i wanted to mention that and um that's it thank you mr krupa uh dr handrahan good evening okay thank you uh good evening all today marks the 13th school day of the 2021-2022 school year i am sure i am not alone in describing the first day of school as a magical one welcoming the students back to full-day instruction was truly a momentous occasion preparing for students to return in september is
always a big job but under the current circumstances reopening is an awesome undertaking i would like to thank all the custodians maintenance staff secretaries administrators and other 12-month personnel that worked tirelessly this summer preparing for our reopening i would also like to thank all of the faculty power professionals bus drivers and administrators that were involved in arguably some of the most well attended summer learning programs we have ever had since september 2nd i have been able to visit all of our schools and some of the classrooms the buildings were ready to go and the amount of enthusiasm our educators brought back with them this september has been sensational right now our district is in the thick of back to school night season it is such a wonderful opportunities for families to meet their child's teachers
and learn about all of the curriculum curricular offerings i've received some questions about the format for the k-5 parent teacher conferences i would like to confirm that the elementary conferences at the end of the first marking period will be in person i have also received some questions regarding covet 19 data in the schools this information just as a reminder is posted weekly on friday mornings on the district website under the covet 19 tab i look forward to the weeks to come as our school community transitions into uh into the fall and all the opportunities that the fall extends to us so thank you and mr adenisio back to you thank you dr hand her hand we will move on committee reports uh policy mr hall thanks ralph uh this month we had our meeting on
september 1st uh quite a bit was on the policy for updates but most of them were uh were minor so we'll start with uh policy restarting recovery plan this policy was abolished based on the fact that it no longer applied um policy 16 48.02 was also abolished that was remote learning option for families as the governor took that away policy number 1648.11 the road forward this is the new policy um that was mandated to us um dr henderson hannah dr hanrahan led the group through some background on new policy um basically it addresses minimum standards um that were included in executive order 175. um just moved some uh guidance from mandatory range uh uh to recommendations so it just really was some uh some you know wording issues um policies uh 3221 evaluation of teachers
this policy only had minor changes the uh one of the bigger material ones was uh the new law that now requires rubrics to be used by the commissioner of education by august first every year and uh for approval instead of august 15th the code previously required submission by june 1st and approval by august 1st um and then the regulation for that was basically you know same thing there's just minor changes in that policy three two two two was evaluation of teachers staff members excluding teachers and administrators so basically the same thing but only for everybody other than the teachers same thing just the same requirements that i mentioned for the teachers about the new approval date uh policy three two two three evaluation of administrators excluding principals vice principals and assistants same thing about the
date that has to be uh approved um all of the rest of the policies are all there to see in the uh on the minutes they're all same word changes on all of them um policy 5114 children displaced by domestic violence this policy has been abolished that has been incorporated into policy five one one one um policy 6471 the school district travel uh mr smith explained to the group that the policies was there to align with the state department of the treasury office of budget management the shortened policy has moved all the details into the revised regulation guide um policy six five excuse me eight five six one procurement for school nutrition the policy has been revised to follow the department of agriculture new rules rules are minor and continue to change almost on a
monthly basis because of the ever-changing nature of the rules this policy removed the chart that the policy referred to and instead references you to the department of agriculture's website as the chart would continue to change on a almost monthly basis and then lastly policy 8810 religious holidays religious holidays are no longer required as a legal requirement in policy 8810 as directed as as addressed in policy 2270 religion in schools united states department of education updated its guidance on constitution constitutionally protected prayer and religious exemptions in schools um policy 2270 was revised to address the updated guidance rendering policy 8810 no longer necessary and that was basically a lot on there but really very very minor changes to almost everything no substance no substantive uh things were changed in my opinion thank you mr hall does
anybody have any questions okay uh moving on personnel mr san philippa thanks ralph um personnel meeting um met on september 2nd in attendance were superintendent dr tracy handerhaan dr randa donnarando sean cranston myself ken wondrak andy krupa and adam nasser one of the biggest things we discussed was the executive order 253 which is for the vaccinations for the teachers and then the um alternate route of being tested one or two times per week so obviously lots of press and things like that that have gone into it um so we had a discussion about that all the notes are up um on the website um the other thing um you know we talked a little bit about the district registration process um as well and um a couple other things so if you care to read
um it is up there thank you thank you any questions none uh mr krupa curriculum and instruction okay thank you mr president there were four items on the agenda one was the introduction of the supervisor of world languages esl visual and performing arts new teacher orientation debrief was second curriculum writing process third an update on mental health and social emotional learning was the the last item um so the committee had a had the pleasure of meeting mr manifest if i said his name correct and he prefers to go well i'm not going to say his first name um it's difficult to pronounce i apologize mr manifest but anyway he gave us an introduction to both himself and a vision for the program a cycle of curriculum development professional development program enhancement and student outcomes was
the recurring theme for his approach and he also gave us some information about a date program titled seal by literacy which it's being looked at with regards to the world language program so that's something that we're looking forward to finding out more information about with regards to that particular program it was discussed that timeline for guidance and academic advisement with such a program would probably need to go down to a middle school level and new teacher orientation i don't know if dr randa or dr handyhand would like to speak to that i know you're very proud of the fact that you had addressed a variety of topics regarding professional development and technology and that the administration the entire administration of the district was involved in presenting sessions it was a great success not only for
the teachers being onboarded but also for the administrators who collaborated and learned from each other pride and ownership definitely it was suggested though in the future that we also include a culture and community segment program evaluation and curriculum writing process was something that dr ramda presented to us on a previous meeting and she gave us more information with regards to both program evaluation and curriculum writing there's ongoing discussions and inclusion of the administrative team of supervisors and principals and teachers that will result in a final draft of this process and it will be presented at a later date inclusive of timeline and dates for the process that's something that we're looking forward to seeing curriculum materials curriculum writing project and course approvals will be presented to this curriculum and instruction committee prior to a full
board review dr randall explained that state mandates and trends in education are always considered and both processes will be linked to not only academic goals and needs of the student but also to the budgetary process the fourth and final item on the agenda was mental health and social emotional learning update there was a program over the summer that was given to the administrative team mental health first aid it was very well received information on the program was shared and the future plans are to have staff in service on this same topic and the goal is boots on the ground observing our students and assisting them and watching for signs of trouble and needs and there is a developing student program at the high school level that is paired with this or tangential looking at that
as well in terms of possibly using grant money to bring that to the district as well that was pretty much the gist of that update the whip around uh was conducted that's when we go around the committee members and ask for their input or questions and it was noted that the summer program that was referenced by dr hanahan just a little bit earlier included the orton going hand yep and christian hardness but all of us are very thrilled with that because obviously a child who can read can be very successful and this is just another tool in our arsenal to help our students the final thing that i'd like to refer to dr rando for is that the testing assessment dates came up and he sent out a letter but are there any things that
you wanted to mention tonight that might be of significance okay pursuant to uh new jersey code law all school districts must notify parents by october 1st in all state and district by testing for the entire school year this year is a little different because there's an assessment call start strong which the state window was from september 13th until october 22nd the school district here at wall has decided by the administrative team to start the start strong program at the high school on september 28th the middle school and elementary will start on october 4th uh it takes about 45 minutes to 60 minutes it's electronic or computer-based and the results are to be returned rather quickly so because we had an early window for testing this year when typically this testing would appear in the spring
uh dr handahan and i agreed that it should be sent out prior to the testing date so you are not notified after the testing date the second new assessment that's given this year is in the spring to all 11th graders is a graduation requirement for all students and it is going to be implemented this year for them to take as well that window i believe is also in about from april to may so what's on the test now for it's on the what's on the schedule now is the window of tests and it will be revised accordingly as we have more specific dates that are going to be uh implemented for the year so there is a graduation test this year okay those of you with seniors like myself take notice and in deference to
my fellow committee members did i miss anything or is there something you'd like to add i just want to say my son attended the summer program and i thought it was excellent i thought starting school you know these past couple weeks i've really seen you know that growth continue right from the summer program which is you know the whole intent of it to you know to stop that gap my son's in in second grade so um you know in the last 18 19 20 months however long goes on right it's it's tough um you know when you have little ones learning to read and you know different things like that um and and i just want to say that it was the summer program was great so thank you i'd also like to add mr
krupa that i just the uh the new staff orientation that took place at the end of august really was a tremendous collaboration of administrators throughout the district and uh it really it was really nice to see um you know all the different um best practices that they were able to bring to the table so that was particularly a highlight for me kudos definitely anybody else anybody have any questions other questions no thank you mr president thank you mr krupa dr anderson uh just to let you know that the notification schedule of testing that we did this year we revised it so that there are links associated next to every single assessment in the past after the chart was created at the bottom there were several links however you didn't know which link went to which
test so we took the time as a team to go and look at every test find the appropriate link so when you take a look at if you open it on the district website which is under curriculum you'll see that when you open up that chart you see a test name you can go right to the references practice tests i think it's much easier to read and more user-friendly for parents and for children so we did make that revision this year and i hope that it's it's more helpful for everyone thank you dr randa all right financing facilities mr garth thank you mr president uh we met on september 7th and uh as we always have a media agenda we we started out looking backwards at our reports for our school dude and the buildings
report with mr moretta and things seem to be in good shape with his perch with his reports in terms of getting the work orders done and progress being made not much to report on terms of the cafe or the rap program at this point as schools just getting started so those heat up through the year mr moretta did present as requested a report on the roofs throughout the district as this meeting was held about two weeks after several you know two weeks windows of rain so we wanted to hear how the roofs were doing across the district and turns out that four of our buildings you know they don't have significant leaks per se but they have a number of leaks that we want to pay attention to so that was good information and he's
continuing to provide a report on the warranties for all the roofs so we can be informed as we move forward in both our capital budgeting and our you know evaluation of a referendum down the road so we had mrs mbom and vice principal seth hewitt from the middle school intermediate school to present their feedback on the long range facility assessment as related to wiss and their recommendations and feedback on the different projects that were on that report that was the second building that we had done we had done it with the high school staff as well a few weeks earlier and just two days ago we met with or three days ago so whatever it was we met with all the elementary school principals so we were trying to go through that long-range facility assessment
be informed and then you know have our own opinions but then listen to the building principles to see what their feedback is so we can you know develop an educated process to move forward with projects for both capital budgeting and long-term a referendum so that was good information we also had our auditor in and they're beginning their work with the finance office and to do their due diligence to provide an audit hopefully with a presentation sometime in november some changes in the laws specifically a log gatsby 84 is going to really change how our audit report looks and we were as educated as we could be in a 45-minute presentation as to what that means audits are complex so we'll all be learning on the fly but it's just going to change how the accounting
of some of the information is presented so it's going to change what you know from last year to this year there's going to be some significant visual differences doesn't mean there's any real uh accounting differences it's just how it's presented so we should be prepared for that as as those audits come out in the coming months the main you know piece of the meeting was the referendum discussion and our plans for that and then we also as you see on the agenda have approved some recommendations for some capital projects to be approved through spiesel architecture which were in our approved budget from this past year so we're just getting to those projects and that's really the bulk of the the meeting and you can read the minutes online if you'd like thank you mr gartz
uh anybody have any questions mr president yes so um if anybody russell or anybody can answer with regards to the part of the um the audit and no that's not the right word of the student population that's being projected i saw a lot of negative numbers and we're the at the elementary level because of the projected building that there's going to be some imbalances in the school population does that make sense what i just said it could we we just had gotten a demographic study a few days before the meeting we didn't even get to it on the agenda so it's on our it's on for discussion at the next meeting so i i don't have any okay ability to answer that at this point but it's certainly on our radar and that is an
updated demographic study from the one that was done brian two years ago at this point all right so we're just trying to get the most up-to-date information based on the building projects that are going on in town and stuff so we will look at it and we'll probably have more discussion in the future andy okay so there's going to be an update to those numbers yeah we didn't we did not spend any time it was on our agenda but it was like item 13 and we just didn't get to any other questions seeing none okay public comment now on agenda items uh the purpose of this uh public comment is for agenda items that the board will be taking action on this evening so please come up to the microphone and state your name betsy
cross i live in wall township um i noticed on the agenda you know sorry to see that patty moore is resigning um i see her on the agenda for today um and i think she was it was just put up there at like four o'clock in the afternoon um and see it to see that it got to this and also that i see carol duffy's retiring and you know my feeling is if she was going to retire she should have retired before she made all these changes you know so now she makes all these changes and now she retires it's not fair i mean and that you know it's not right um so now you lost a good person hopefully she'll retire and be happy or she'll get another great job because she was so
good here but very disappointed you also with it was where this was headed i see we have another rotating attorney here tonight it looks like jeffrey merlino i think it's the first time i've seen you but you know we really need some consistency here um i don't know mr gorge you just skimmed over you i don't think you were in the executive session or you at least wouldn't hear when it started the gatsby 84 i know we had a number of changes in the um audit last year now we're having more changes this year maybe you could tell us a little bit more about what gatsby 84s is going to do and what's it going to change you skipped over a lot of things but you did mention this referendum again and the referendum has
a zero percent chance ever passing a wall ever ever and this is why you never want to tell the amount because nobody ever you don't want anybody to know um so if you give us an update on what's the dollar amount that you're looking at you're hiring all these people to do all these reports costing a fortune but you still never give them this was reported on by the committees this is really not an agenda item so if i would just ask you to bring this up i can't hear you and you know what at home it's very difficult to hear i i would just i would just remind you that this first public comment section is for agenda items only right well attached to the agenda the last page is the fnf committee minutes
so that's why i'm bringing it up it also mentions a number of reports are attached and they're not attached so that's mr gortz again not doing his job as the fnf chair for an 80 million dollar budget so when you say you have something attached in your minutes we need to attach them what this public comment is for items we will be voting on this evening if you don't have anything there are so many items on here um what i can't understand is the agenda all it is is stipends salary increases longevity pay there's nothing on here for the kids it's like 24 pages of extra money being paid out i've asked this question over and over again where is the money from the cares act mr smythe never returns the answer why are these
meetings not held at well municipal so people could be without me none of this is on the agenda first of the vote to you directly mr adonizio and again you ignored the emails so i will bring it up if you don't answer you can bring it off that's it no i'll bring it up now so if you're not going to follow the rules please sit down if you're not going to follow the rules and be a board president and answer questions this is on agenda items so the first public comment there's people waiting really there are there are other people in the audience this is the first public nobody got up that's why i got up nobody got up so i think this is your first time here mr molino so you'll see how this
goes i follow the rules ma'am i did want to mention there's a contract up there for brian smythe that was never approved in public for 2122 only signed by ralph adenizio how does this stuff happen how does mr smythe give himself six more vacation days we've never seen it on an agenda and i believe that's not on here i know it's not on here okay so that contract is illegal the purpose of the commenting on agenda items that the board will take action on this evening mr smith thank you your time is up because you will not follow the rules thank you make sure you document the illegal contract for brian smith miss cross there is no illegal contract yes your time is up so sit down you sign the illegal contract please sit down

uh you can comment on any school district issues please just come up to the microphone and state your name for the record hello my name is lauren kuna i'm a wall township i resident a couple of comments questions i'd like to understand i know the middle school has lunch pods and i was told that they would be reevaluated in six weeks from the start date so i'd like to know what data or measures are needed in order to make that evaluation and possibly change the pods and have the children go back to sitting as they would have done normally before covid so i'd like data on what is needed for the pods to go back to normal we've talked before about a town hall meeting type of forum i'd like to understand when would that
be taking place where parents can answer or ask them questions and you can reply better than this format and then also i would like to bring up that at the july 20th meeting there was discussion about under the curriculum and instruction committee that curriculum issues social emotional learning lgbq and nmdc critical race theory and curriculum time timelines would be extended due to covid i was at that meeting that's exactly what i understood it seems like that was what it was implied and it was written in the minutes which is what i just wrote read however if you go to the curriculum website there is lgbq curriculum listed so that kind of conflicts with what was said at the meeting and there's also seo curriculum getting started at allenwood so that also conflicts what was said
at the july 20th meeting so i'd like to understand what happened from the july 20th meeting till now and i'd also like to understand if you are teaching seo why is the curriculum not listed on the website thank you thank you good evening desiree langeveld 1531 equestrian lane i would like to start by saying thank you to all the teachers administrators board of ed and superintendent for getting our children back in school full days i do continue to express my concern about math squaring for various reasons and even though murphy reinstated this irrational executive order mandating our children to wear masks i will keep speaking up i have said this before and i will say it again it's completely unacceptable that our children are mandated to wear a mask eight hours a day in school
with minimum mass breaks peer-reviewed studies show over and over again that masks don't work and are compromi compromising our immune system in so many ways we also know that it's not going to stop here i encourage all parents teachers board of ed and superintendent to do their own research and realize the consequences what concept what the consequences are for long-term mask wearing and ask yourselves if this is what you really if you're really okay with this all over new jersey adults get to do what they want without wearing a mask but our children are being victim to this while they are affected the least by covet it's great to see that more and more doctors teachers and nurses are standing up in our country trying to stop these insane and unconstitutional measures taken by our
government in august our board of ed and superintendent took a stand to have mass wearing to be optional and as soon as murphy reinstated the mask wearing our district went right along with it why are why are we complying with these guidelines without pushing back why are you not continuing to write emails stating your concerns our children deserve to go to school interact with each other see each other smile and see each other's faces in my opinion we are teaching our children not to question anything and to comply with irrational requests that impact their own health i have emailed you over the past month regarding implemented regarding implementing more consistent mass breaks during the day and to find ways to be creative with this executive order so that we can somewhat have a balance with
the weather changing our children will be outside less and so we need to find ways to give them mass breaks during the day and to breathe in fresh air without doing this we are only creating an environment that will make our children more sick as their immune systems are compromised by their masks i want to ask our district to look into investing uh maybe in more tents outside or having the children maybe be in the gym without their mask during lunch or during certain breaks when i see emails come by stating that our that our kids now have to wear a mask when entering the bus but being allowed to take it off when sitting in the bus i wonder who comes up with these guidelines i don't know how this makes any how this
makes any sense why is not every parent asking themselves what the effectiveness is of all these guidelines parents teachers board of ed and superintendent please don't give up this fight for our children they need to be protected this is so much more than just the mask thank you thank you is there anybody else for public comment hello jennifer spearow wall township um fda just came out and said five to eleven will be able to get a vaccine soon so if murphy mandates it can you let us know ahead of time is it gonna be oh you know you have to come to school tomorrow vaccinated if if a kid doesn't want to have that get vaccinated or parents don't want to have them vaccinated is there going to be a testing protocol are we already
starting a testing protocol i listen to judy persicelli every single time the woman who needs no introduction i watch everything they said the districts are getting money to start testing programs in the school so if you know about it and you know it's coming down the pike it would be nice to reiterate that or let the parents know my school the school's old mill has no idea about it wall intermediate has no idea about it but the state's doing it other districts are doing it so they said if it's going to come down it's going to come down from the superintendent's office that's who will tell you so hopefully we'll be told that's really all that i have for now thank you is there anybody else for public comment ellie razak um well township i'm
sorry could you say that again ellie rozek wall township um what i have to say is kind of lengthy so i may not get through all of it um tonight i'd like to share the findings of an extensive investigation that's been ongoing since july 2020 led by a highly respected german attorney dr reiner fulmich his colleagues and 150 distinguished scientists and experts i will email the full presentation to the board this evening here are the main findings the coveted measures lockdown social distancing mass mandates and vaccines were never about health we don't have a pandemic as a fatality rate of 0.14 to 0.15 percent corresponds with that of the flu there are several safe existing alternative methods for preventing and treating this disease but they were discredited because they make vaccines unnecessary there were no
excess mortality before the beginning of the so-called vaccinations the spike in mortality can be attributed to massive medical malpractice such as six sick people being moved into nursing homes as well as incorrect and incentivized protocol treatments data was widely falsified as it's estimated that many as 96 percent of the people who died allegedly died from covet died from completely different causes planning for this pandemic plandemic has been ongoing for at least 10 years by corrupt global corporations governments the who and ngos like the cdc for example prior to this event dozens of patents on coronavirus its spike protein and the so-called vaccine have already been registered after the failed swine food outbreak of 2009 the who unexpectedly changed its definition of a pandemic from a worldwide outbreak with many deaths to just a worldwide outbreak
in 2000 in october 2018 a pandemic simulation exercise took place in new york called event 201 please look it up the bill and melinda gates foundation's world economic forum and the johns hopkins center for health security health security were involved bill gates father was no was a known eugenics and bill himself has publicly stated for years that population growth is a problem in addition to the fear-inducing media messaging the centerpiece used for this pandemic to keep this pandemic going is the pcr test and the corona committee which is the investigative committee has disproved the two claims surrounding the tests so-called asymptomatic transition transmissions do not exist if someone doesn't have symptoms they're not driving an outbreak the pcr test is was was created for research only and neither approved nor suitable for a diagnosis because
it can't distinguish between living and dead virus particles and it also tests positive from virus particles left over in our immune systems therefore completely healthy people can test positive the pcr test was set up in such a way that it was guaranteed to generate false positive by using 45 cycle amplification versus the recommended 24 cycle anything over 35 cycles results in 97 meaningless false positives therefore the tests and the results are fraudulent we don't have a corona pandemic we have a pcr test pandemic the vaccines the alleged vaccines or gene therapy experiment on unsuspecting humans because there was no valid informed consent this lack of informed consent violates one of the greatest outcomes of the nuremberg trials as many whistleblowers in the medical field are now reporting the vaccines are causing unexplained neurological disorders cardiac
episodes life-threatening blood clots paralysis full blood body rashes and the majority of these are going unreported whistleblowers are coming forward it's all over and on the internet finally the goals of the pandemic were the following destruction of regional economies to make the population dependent on the government and the globalist supply chains those companies that were you know deemed essential shifting more of the world's another goal was to shift more of the world's wealth from the bottom to the top population reduction and total control of the remaining population an installation of world government under the un which is now under control of the world economic forum in short what the coronav corona committee concluded based on the extensive incriminating evidence that they have gathered is that this entire pandemic is the largest crime ever committed against
humanity it is the work of sociopaths and psychopaths who are compromised and corrupt politicians who help push the agenda forward based on all of this committee's findings of a premeditated plan large legal disputes are being set in motion worldwide their goal is to hold these responsible for this pandemic accountable under the both civil and criminal law your five minutes are up okay thank you you sent that to us um i will send you the video it's 40 like his presentation it's very long but can i just i just want to say that please you know um your your ongoing response to us has been your just filing orders but that just following orders did not hold up if crimes against humanity are being aided and abetted here and that's what this present that's what this
committee has decided so i'll send i'll send a lot of information to you guys thank you betsy cross i live in wall township um i just wanted to ask dr brando how many dance classes is wall offering this year this is not question and answer all right well it's a question that you should know how many dance classes are you offering this year okay if you don't want to answer it tonight you don't know the answer then you can email me tomorrow okay simple simple question um i see pages and pages of new job listings i just wanted to mention that i just wanted to say you know saying that that there wasn't any wrongdoing by the wall board of education and the trailer and the central school trailer fiasco it just really doesn't even
make any sense that would be like saying that there was no wrongdoing in the murder of this poor girl cabbie gabby petito saying that you know nicole simpson wasn't murdered saying that casey didn't murder her daughter kaylee the facts prove otherwise so this is still ongoing back and forth with the judge and to see the letter that mr scarillo's from dennis mckeever was a joke um he actually put in writing that he would that he didn't think i should let the public know that there was a public hearing it's ridiculous that would be like you to mr mckeever telling me i can't let the public know that there's a world board of education meeting that's why it's called a public hearing and the public is allowed to be there so um the certification absolutely made
no sense whatsoever so until we get all these answers the judge is going to keep getting all of these documents so they're all on the record it's going to go on and on um his certification was mindless didn't make any sense and i mean who cares how many people are listening to the hearing if you're if you're being honest and telling the truth if you don't want people on that that should make everyone very nervous because i want everybody on hearing the truth and this side doesn't want anybody on and the attorney wants to tell people that to the judge so i'm sure she got a kick out of that as well one thing that i keep bringing up is this report by the attorney was not signed by mr scarillo's office and i've sent
everybody this two minutes and at the two minute and forty second mark of that board of ed meeting on september twenty second and this this is really says it all i mean mr scarillo says we are going to put our names on this report my firm is going to stand behind it so we can issue a report to the board of education as a den as an entity that we could stand behind you never got that and you never approved anything in a meeting and you paid a hundred and fourteen thousand dollars for that piece of nonsense with no backup so that's a big problem that's why um people behind the scenes keep looking at it and saying major major problems here because the facts are proving otherwise and you should be concerned dr handerhand
because now you're the superintendent and it doesn't look good for you because the facts are proving otherwise for mr smythe to not answer questions and to hide documents from the prosecutor's office is criminal he was asked to turn over documents and he didn't turn him over he was asked questions about the trailers and he didn't answer them and like i've said i'd like to know if he would have put his children in those filthy disgusting trailers that the board was told not to buy any okay yeah and uh your attorney put a picture of my son in his letter and do you think i appreciate that so don't go after me and my family because we've just about had it so this attorney this law firm needs to take those documents and those two zip
drives and turn them over to another state agency i don't care how many state agencies i did just say very happy to see on the facebook page for wall township community news and highlights about mr smith's illegal contract and that looks like it got to a state entity good afternoon i'd like to notify your office that on a legal contract for 2021 employment for mr bill thank you mr your time is up right so get back to me on that and i suggest your it is an time contract thank you your time's up is there anybody else for public comment seeing none we will close public comment uh dr handler hand did you want to yes i would like to respond to some of some of the um items this evening uh with respect to
the inquiry regarding the lunch pod criteria to change lunch groups at the intermediate school that question really is best best asked of the intermediate school administration so i would i would advise uh the public uh the individual that asked that question that they really uh would be the best the best to uh respond to that question additionally uh social emotional learning um it's that's something that has been in the um whether it the letters have been assigned s-e-l or not they have been uh it's something that schools have been responsible for providing education in and also supports in for quite a long time many sel the social emotional learning takes place uh often times in health class it takes place in groups many of our counselors use small groups paired groups to work with individualized
students individual students to to meet to meet individual needs so the the umbrella uh social emotional learning does take many forms some of that is uh curricular and largely in health and um but social emotional learning also is uh something that is addressed at the group level which is uh would be in the counseling office so um there are a couple there are it's a multi-pronged um it's a multi-pronged initiative and it has been certainly in the school districts uh for many years and there is another question that i i recall regarding testing covet testing for students and that some districts are using grant grant money from the state or the federal government to test children while township is um not participating in that these school districts are either testing all students on a schedule
or doing random sampling of tests of testing school districts had to opt into programs like that we are we are not participating in a testing all children program what is what school districts must do is we need to follow executive order 253 which requires non-vaccinated staff members to um to have weekly testing for coven 19. so and that is that is the testing that we are participating in and of course we have are able if a parent needs assistance with providing covet 19 testing we certainly have resources uh to direct them to so just to be clear we are not we are not participating in a program that is testing all of the students or random sampling of students for covet 19. okay thank you and just just because there's a few other questions about
may yeah so with respect to whether whether the superintendent or the school district would notify the parents early if the governor issues any more executive orders or mandates the answer is we don't get any advanced information however the superintendent and the business office and the district do a good job of just relaying that information that's received from the governor's office if the governor does it by twitter and to the general public but but the school district will make efforts to just relay and make sure that everybody gets that information but no there's no advance information that's received from the school districts from the state and then with respect to the allegations of an illegal contract i just want to reiterate to the board of education the public that's just a false accusation and there's there's
no truth to that at all thank you and just so everyone knows too most of the uh orders that have come out for kovit from the governor's office we find out from the news and twitter before we get any official notification which is usually several days later if not a little longer mr ednesio yes mr gartz just a quick point of reference the hr report is 19 pages long and in that report there are four new hires that are all paraprofessionals there are nine resignations there are seven leaves of absences and a myriad of people who are filling extracurricular activities clubs activities et cetera that's all i want to say thank you thank you do any other board members have anything um mr president yes mr group and i just want to correct the record
if it was a mistake on my part i apologize but in regards to the curriculum mentions that you made the extension was talking about revisions there's already existing curriculum as you mentioned so that was what the extension was all about if i heard correctly okay so and also i i would just like to say that i think in terms of um the district moving forward for me personally that we are in need of a referendum and i think that the work that the finance and facilities committee is doing and all the other committees as well is working towards that end and it's very damaging when anyone speaks to issues that are outside of that work we need facilities and learning environment and other things which will continue to advance our students and i hope that
we can all see that to its fruition thank you mr krupa anybody else seeing none uh we have a motion to adjourn so moved hello mr garcia we have a second a second second mr san felipe all in favor all right great thank you have a nice evening you
