001presentation gentlemen. My name is uh Mr. Gerard and I'm at 41 at the West. Currently I'm the president of the Society for the past 18 months. Prior to being president, I don't know, short a lot of you. Can you hear me? >> A lot of you probably know Jack. There you go. Jack Jennings. From what I understand, he this was his life, the historic society. But in 2023, unfortunately, he passed away. I heard about this the summer of 24 and the historic society was going to go under. So me and a few people went to the meeting. His wife Cass and daughter Jen was at the meeting and lo and behold I became the president. I took the challenge the last 18 months. We needed to donate and get some money. We've had two pancake
002breakfastes. We also had our first annual golf tournament at the Pil Golf Club this past summer. So, we started picking up a little bit of money and keeping the historic society afloat. Currently, I'm also the citizen advisory committee member. Last year was my first year and earlier this month, our first meeting 26, I asked, "Hey, do we have like a a Winslow day?" And he said, "What's that?" I said, "Well, March 8th is the anniversary of Winslow. This year will be 81 years. It was incorporated in 1845. So the members thought it was a great idea. So, we're looking at recommendations to the board to honor the anniversary and present for your consideration several ideas to involve the school community. Of course, you got the old essay contest. You can do a dress up day
003for students to wear, you know, vintage clothing. Have students create a video with someone who had lived here for many years. And you can also have an in-person visit to the classroom. I'm sure somebody's been here. I bet you there's people still alive, 80, 90, maybe even 100 years old here. They probably had parents two, three, maybe four or five generations here. Me being a big history buff, I love American history. I'm fascinated about Winslow. The last 18 months, I've learned a lot and I'm still learning. I would love the children to have pride in their community. We all know about the state football teams. Awesome. Was it two years in a row? I believe track and field state champs, right? How about Jordan Barrows? I'm a big wrestler. When I was in high school,
004I still go to wrestle matches. Jordan Barrows is one of the best in the world. our children to look up to the community. There's some greatness and that was just my observation. Hey, a wins day. Every anniversary March 8th is on a Sunday and it's up to the board members and this and and the teachers to decide what day and what they want to do. Maybe a class project, like I said, a video, do a an art, make something that they can a picture. I have a nine-year-old daughter that thinks that she uh makes art is is amazing. So, I imagine these kids would love to do something as a result. of the school board education begin such a an interactive hopefully the Winslow committee will pass a resolution to honor this date annually. Thank
005you. Any questions for me? Thank you very much for uh presenting and we look forward to having some future conversations about uh recognizing res. >> I just want to make one small on the behalf of the entire township school board. As president, I extend our sincere appreciation to our business administrator, board secretary, Miss McCoy Bo, Mr. Peas, and administrative team for demonstrating strong leadership and ensuring the safety of our students, staff on the first significant snow and ice this week in at least 10 years. Parents and characterist, thank you for your patience and your understanding. So, we're going to move on to the minutes. I'm looking for a motion to approve the following meeting minutes of the board of education. The regular meeting Wednesday, January 14, 2026, open session and regular meeting Wednesday, January 14,
00620, 2026. Close session. I'm for a motion. >> Motion to approve the minutes from [cough] January 14. Second. Roll. >> Mr. Clark. >> Abstain. >> M. >> Yes. >> Miss Glor. >> Yes. >> Miss. Martin. >> Yes. >> Mr. Matthew. >> Yes. >> Miss Ne. >> Yes. Miss. >> Yes. And Mr. Thomas. >> Yes. >> The motion is >> Thank you. Now looking for a motion to approve the following meeting minutes for the board of education. organization meeting Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, open session. Can I get a motion? >> Motion to approve the meeting of the reorganization. >> Second question roll. >> Mr. Clark, >> yes. >> Miss Dre, >> yes. >> Miss Glor, >> yes. >> Miss Martin, >> yes. >> Mr. Matthew, >> yes. Miss Neandr, >> yes. >> Motion has carried. >>
007Are we moving along three for our board committee reports? There's two representative reports. >> Moving along from our new athletic and parks committee. Miss Glaw, do you have anything from our athletic arts? >> Yes. Um I'm going to report on the um arts committee. As you all may see inside of our agenda, we have an upcoming uh spring musical coming once upon completion of approval from the board. I would like for you all to save your date for March 26, March 28th and come out and experience the great theater um performance from our township students. It's called Chicago. And that concludes my meeting Mr. Thomas. Thank you there, Miss Law. Jasmine Jackson, 60 meter hurl, first in the nation at the last invitational meet. She also came fourth in the 200 meters. Olivia Aara first
008in the 200 meters. Julia Derek took second in 800 meters. Nyla Williams was first in the pole. And this team have a average GPA of 4.0 and this is their eighth straight state championship for indoor track. >> Will there be a report from the citizens advisory committee? >> Yes, Mr. President. >> The monthly meeting of the citizens advisory committee was held on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026 beginning at 6:35 p.m. In attendance in person or Murphy, Deborah, Greg, Sarah, Paul, Rosie Hoffman, Brown, Marcy, Post, Peterson, President of the Purpose of the General Allute. themselves chairperson Marcy Thomas and Brown meetings secretary will be our next meeting Marcy presenting an overview previous successes with recommendations listing items not finished from the previous year's group to also on behalf of community thanks for us especially in public relations
009to improve communication parents request for an update on the search for a new permanent superintendent suggested that the board make an update at the next board meeting. The group discussed and will take a recommendation to the board as the board to initiate township history day to commemorate the anniversary of its copy of this recommendation is attached. Two new items that will be discussed at our next meeting will be bringing back the district's town hall meetings. The chat with the board member distributed copies of previous CNC brochures needs to be updated to recruit new members. An unfinished discussion from last year was continued was an item to help the district's parent organizations coordinating activities changing members each year and possibly suggested council formed by them for those discussions at the next meeting. One of the last
010accepted recommendations was the academic hall of fame performing arts hall of fame committee is being created to bring these relation carryover discussion from last year was having students part of the CAC some discussion on the meeting alternatives to discuss any recommendation coming another item to discuss at our next meeting and for recommendations having orientations for students as they travel to school to the higher level ideas included a kindergarten ice cream social and visits to the building to see their partner location and how lunch pro how the lunch process works due to precedent that members attend at least one day a month. Our next meeting will take place on Thursday, February 5th at 6:30 p.m. >> Outstanding. How many members? >> Uh currently we're standing at 18. >> Outstanding. And um Mr. President, you did ask
011for um a copy of their names, addresses, phone numbers. that was >> um and as a point of information um if we go down to uh the paragraph on to those efforts. Just would like to make the board aware of the fact that I did let the um CFC community know that are the design from Jersey School Board Association has recommended that we do not participate in the chat with the board member because it is our board members and it is not a good ideation. highly recommend that you do not >> uh and yes the next question was they wanted to bring students into meeting um I don't have an objection to that but um I believe that we need a legal immigrant 18 years of age I know run for office at any time
012they have to be. So I just wanted to clarify that because um when having that conversation, one of my concerns is that my a age group of my members currently go anywhere from probably 20s up through 80s and now I'm going to students into that. are getting the fact that I'm sure our student can give some opinion on that. Very good. Uh we're moving on now to the education committee. We have a report today at 6:30. >> Thank you so much. >> January 23rd. in the administration building board members Martin and myself administrator was restored the church as this was our first meeting of 2026 there's a special focus on the four township events that our board participates in throughout the year which include but is not limited to Junth day July 4th National Night
013Out which occurs in August and Winso Township Family Day which also occurs in August. Additionally, I have contacted our municipal clerk's office and requested a copy of the list of the various groups and organizations that come under the township so that we may connect with them and be made aware of and participate in any events in the plan. At this time, the committee has no recommendations to be brought out to the board. The meeting ended at 3 pm. Future meetings will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month. Time to be determined respectively cere. We're going to move on to the operations committee which is also Mr. John M. Strike that's not Charles right and M you have operations. >> Yes. [clears throat] Yes. Mr. President um Mal for the relations committee. So the
014operations meeting uh committee met on at 5:30 on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026. Um in attendance were Men, Mr. Charles, Mr. Matthew and Mr. Thomas, our board president. Also in attendance were Mico, Mr. Michael Wing, our PI. The following items were discussed. uh we've discussed the 24 25 budgeted capital capital projects and other projects and at the beginning of the year uh we've had four outstanding projects. Three of the four were uh went out to bid were awarded design upgrades to school five the upgrades to school six and the upgrades to the serving line at the high school cafeteria. Um the fourth project that went out was the construction of a pole bond. The bids came in, three bids came in, they were all significantly higher than our budget in order to. So we have at
015this point the board has to let me know determination what they would like us to do with that project. And there are four options. to supplement the project by withdrawing additional funds from capital reserves from 275,000. Um any unexpended funds project back uh we can modify and reduce the project. You can do a combination of supplement and modify and then the fourth recommend if you want to do the project before you did not um Mr. Michael Wazley from Associates with Architect Farm. He was present to answer questions. Second item we discussed were the placement of the mares. We have signage in front of the high school and the middle school. It was noted that one in front of the high school is not there. That's because when the vendor came out to install this new
016electronic signage um when they went to install the signage the posts that were there had there was water infiltration freezing and so that loss integrity we are they have to come in and replace it. We found that at the high school and I said before we take the middle school let's look same thing at the middle school. So I believe it's on this approving to have post so that they can install the signs. Of course we have to wait for um and I just wanted to mention also that the signage and school funding too have been upgraded. Those are done high school. Um we're looking at the 26 27 budget development. We're going to de develop a budget with the same amount of state aid that we can see this year. However, due to rising
017health care costs, we may have to use banks in order to balance um our budget and this will have an impact on the tax and districts were also instructed to budget no more than 75% of our current year of federal awards. So, federal grants budget 75%. However, at another meeting, I heard that some of this funding may be in jeopardy. If that's the case, the cost of some of those services may have to be moved into the annual operating. So, that too will necessitate that we we utilize cap. Um and now building basin department budgets have been developed using the October 15th ASSA roll in them. So the principles of the departments have entered the budget budget software and meetings with these individuals principles building principles department heads was scheduled for Tuesday January 27th. Um
018and that was a snow day. So Mrs. and I will have to schedule that could be on and my final are the financial disclosure forms. So this is up going to have Mr. Davis get it. Um and so emails will be going out. I I have asked Mr. now 19 time you get to fill it out Miss I'm not quite sure since you were but just on the same side knock that out I appbody to please review and submit your forms and our meeting >> thank you also I just want to add to that school, but something else we move forward with great support. Now policy committee blessings I believe the substantial completion is um probably end of August of >> uh you can ask about high school [laughter] the high school has still has
019to go up to um OSC if they review because of the size of the contract we send the contract up to them they review it they review it quite peace Great. I think at one point Chris mom came in and I had the other architect. They suggested that we start over. So at this point, um, but at least this canvas, I'm trying to look on the bright side. We got three of these puppies coming. I would really like that. >> The policy committee, Mr. >> Good afternoon, good evening. We met today. I will have our report for the next meeting. >> Thank you so much. Moving right on, Mr. Clark. Anything for the IT committee? >> We'll be meeting Friday at 5:30 virtually for our first meeting of the year. >> Thank you. Um the
020economic development council is invited to meet on February the 2nd and we'll have a report then moving on to drug alliance. Mr. Matthew drug alliance. >> Thank you. And the planning board that goes with Mr. Shaw he's not here. We'll move right along to the superintendent report with regards to something that we still have to clear up. I need to call that last board meeting was a bit confusing with regards to um who sits on um uh the um economic development council and of course the planning board was clear and the new line. So she was confused because um you wanted and then also straight and so we were supposed to send her an email so that she could put out that Certainly. >> Sure. I just wanted to I spoke to her this morning.
021Um she said she would like to have township. >> Okay. So, and there's a meeting on February. They moved until 6:00 and you can be a part of that meeting. Come back. Okay. >> All right. Moving to number 10 on page three, the superintendent report. I'm looking for a motion to approve the superintendence report. Starting on page three, number 10. Going all the way to page number nine. At the top, page number nine. Make a motion. Motion to approve the superintend >> Mr. Clark. >> Yes. >> M. >> Yes. >> Mr. Lloyd. >> Yes. >> Miss Martin? >> Yes. >> Mr. Matthew? >> Yes. >> Miss? >> Yes. Miss Ditz. >> Yes. >> And Mr. Thomas. >> Yes. >> Motion has carried. >> Thank you. Still on page nine going down to number 11. The
022business administrator secretary report. I'm moving for motion to approve the business administrator secretary that begins on page nine. All the way over to page 18. at the top of >> E2. >> Any questions? >> Roll call. >> Mr. Clark, >> yes. >> Miss, >> yes. >> Miss Glor, >> yes. >> Miss Martin, >> yes. >> Mr. Matthew, >> yes. >> Miss Nevin, >> yes. >> Miss Lord, yes. with the inception of page 13. I choose myself. >> Thank you. And Mr. Thomas. >> Yes. >> The motion has carried. >> Thank you. We're now at on page 18 in the middle. Number 12, the superintendent recommends approval for the following actions. I'm move for a nomination. for a motion to approve the superintendent's recommendation that starts on the page 18 and goes over to page one
023to approve the personel. >> Any questions? >> No, no questions. Um, Mr. President, I just made a statement. >> Sure. >> On page number 20, number seven, it says the high Spring musical orchestra. I would just like to draw attention to the last name of musicians, Martin. And Martin is a graduate of audition. Any other questions? All right. Please, >> Mr. Clark. >> Yes. >> Miss Dre. >> Yes. >> Miss Glo. >> Yes. >> Miss Martin. >> Yes. >> Mr. Matthew. >> Yes. >> Miss Nandez. >> Yes. >> Mr. is not here. Miss Pitz. >> Yes. >> And Mr. Thomas. >> Yes. >> The motion has carried. >> Thank you. There's no agenda. And we're going over to the open public record. >> Uh yes, Mr. President. I believe he's responded to two. One was
024from Mar Zuka Esquire. He um he wanted us to compile a bid to tally including hall quantity and unit pricing from each bidder for retail people that was submitted on April 29th, 2020. He said he believes the project number was 2020-18. Um that was a bid and we did submit the documents to him. We also received the request from Mr. Thomas Carroll. He requested video footage available from inside the gymnasium at Winslow School number four on January 7, 2026 from 7:50 p.m. until 9:45. That request was also approved after we checked with the board solicitor to make sure that we could [laughter] >> gave you an opinion. >> Yes. >> All right. Moving right along. Anything more information? >> Yes. Like to start with Dr. Martin Jr. coming together. Keeping together is progress. working together
025is success. Uh like Mr. Thomas mentioned, uh we had a very successful middle school meeting and we were happy to get our students back after the winter break and was happy to see our teachers and students with smiles on their faces coming back into their building. And I'd like to thank all the teams that were involved uh to get the building back in order for our students and staff to come back. On to current issues. Uh I'd like to thank Miss Penock and her team for the work that they do uh each and every day uh during this storm which has somewhat paralyzed the district and and other districts and municipalities throughout the state and throughout this eastern region. Uh we've been battling through uh turning snow and I just want to thank our team.
026If you see members of uh maintenance and anyone from facilities or grounds, please thank them for the work that they're doing. This is this is tough work and it is uh some brutal conditions that we're all facing. So, uh, the team has been doing a great job and there's been some challenges and, you know, as a competitor, we're always looking to, uh, get better and we'll regroup and assess, uh, this this work and look at making improvements to, uh, better be prepared for uh, future uh, weather issues. Uh in the educational committee I did mention the possibility of making up days and I think uh it's something that's worthwhile looking at. Right now the calendar is designed to uh probably make up days during spring break the 8th the 9th and the 10th. right now
027are those days. I will have conversations with uh the board and with uh the insurance team about looking at other possibilities. Also on the Martin Luther King Jr. I had the opportunity to attend the first annual Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast and awards ceremony. a phenomenal uh presentation of Winslow uh the Winsow community and uh kindness and I was happy to be invited and I had opportunity to bring my son and it was a great opportunity to recognize one of our own uh coach Bill G from humanitarian humanitarian award. So after speaking with Mayor Lawrence, uh I would definitely like to be a part of that in the future, making sure that our students are part of the entertainment or even uh just participating in something that was uh great bringing the community together as
028it was. uh from our curriculum uh department. We're always looking to improve ourselves and after some conversations with uh Miss Lloyd, you know, we're looking to add students to our financial literacy programs, you know, because of the the type of athletes that we're producing here at Renzo and uh NIL image and likeness is becoming a big part of college and college athletes. We want to make sure that our students are prepared for those conversations. So we'll be looking to add a unit in our financial literacy courses on NIL and also just provide our students all of our students opportunities on financial presentations from professionals throughout the uh financial uh career uh networks for our booster club. I've been requesting information about our booster club. I have not received the report to report to you all
029their financial uh dealings. I am looking forward to having future discussions about how to move forward with our research club. Hopefully uh in the next day or two we will receive it but if not I think you know as a board we need to look at making different uh decisions or making a change in our pers. I was requested to uh look into getting a policy audit and we will use Strauss estimate. Uh Strauss estimate manages our policies. So they will conduct our policy audit for us free of charge. The technology uh committee although we haven't met yet but Mr. Bark and I have talked and one of the things that we will be discussing or project will be the technology audit and at this point our technology director Mr. Ponte uh has received information
030from the audit. One of the uh recommendations is access points and increasing the number of access points in our uh facilities. So, we'll look to have more conversations and make preparations for uh adding those access points and any other recommendations that may come from the uh technology board. Branding and positive uh remarks and information to our district is important to us and that communication uh is valued not only by our board but is valued by our community. Uh Mr. and I had a chance to film our first uh podcast uh students named the podcast wins ready a podcast designed to provide information and positive uh images of township school district. So we look forward to filming these in the future and we look forward to inviting individuals to share uh all the great things that
031are taking place in Windsor County School District. Along with that, our public relations department, which consists of Miss Kimberly Hall and Miss Stephanie McCra, they will continue to provide the district with uh Facebook postings and we're looking into or moving forward with getting Instagram on board as a social media platform as well. So, we really want to make sure that really good uh information or positive feed or uh information slips through the cracks. So we want to make sure that we fortify our communication to our community. Also like to recognize Miss Clement for doing an excellent job of filling in for uh in our special ed department and working with that team to make sure that we maintain the uh momentum and pace of the special ed leads and that department. I had an opportunity
032to go out and visit some of our out of district uh partners who have some of our sleeps. I've uh went and visited Archway Kingsway Learning Center and Children's First and I'd like to report back that the money that is being spent on these facilities is worth every penny. and having a chance to meet some of our Winslow students in these uh schools. I know it's expensive, but the needs of some of these students uh require services that these these individuals or these communities or these school districts provide that is well beyond what we're able to provide. So, I'm I'm grateful to uh have met with these individuals and got a chance to see some of our students and I I met one of our high school students who was doing a great job. But,
033of course, I'm always looking at the opportunity to use those facilities as they transition back to our school district if possible. So, we'll continue to have those conversations, but the students that I did uh meet at these facilities, you know, they are happy. they're they're learning and they're in great hands. So, um I was happy to really get a chance to to meet those individ individuals there. This concludes my update. Thank you and be safe going home today. >> Phenomenal. Mr. Visa, would there be any questions for Mr. Be on thisformational? >> Yes, I have a question. Um I don't know if you covered it, but I want to know um in any event, um we did a great job so far with um making up school days when middle schools out, but we don't
034know if we're going to have more weather coming up as far as um missing school days. Um are we prepared and possibility to do virtual learning um for the school? We don't have enough phone books to cover that. >> That's not the issue. The the issue is the state won't allow. >> Won't allow. Okay. So, you know, normally for us to be able to get approved to do virtually, it would have to be three days, three consecutive emergency days. Okay? And unfortunately, they're not approved for weather as an emergency like that. So, no one in the state of New Jersey is going virtual for weather. >> Well, that's a question that most parents probably ask wanted to ask and I wanted to make sure that question was answering. Thank you so much. Any other questions?
035We're moving right along to old business. Whatever you think under old business working okay so with the academic and arts hall of fame I believe back home with our students for the community to have interest. As of right now, I'm taking interest for both committees. If we have enough interest, we can always split it into one being academic and one being arts. Um, the choir also seeks to email me by February 1st with any interest given the weather. We can probably push the deadline a couple days, but I'd really like to see the community come out. Anybody get more to move these committees forward at that time. >> Thank you. Um and I have one item under as you know I meet with superintendent on Friday the board is always welcome everybody meeting so I
036just want to discuss that we discussed any questions now time we reviewed [clears throat] and discussed several key agenda items including recognition and award for student bilingual marketing initiatives. Board of Education matters and booster club updates championship jackets made available to the public and to launch our GPA awareness in the ninth grade. Additional topics included the ITR track naming district club outreach letters and the new jail cover to Winro Township including how we may align and play a role in our five strategic plan. All these items will be included in discussion consideration of both discussion about the items that we suggested. >> Okay, we're going to move on to new business. Is there anything new? >> Yes. >> As well as a local district, we do have um school board locally but we also have
037county school board association and certainly we have 21 counties but uh however glosser county and camping county are joined together so we have our meetings jointly I just want to remind us that the next campa school board association meeting will take place on um Thursday February 5th and it will be virtual And I would just like to remind us that it's really helpful for us as many of us as 10 to these meetings because these are some of the classes um each board member um in attending the county SBA meeting uh will receive uh a meeting credit and also an academy uh an academy credit and certain these credits uh go towards our certifications. Also attending the county meeting provides an opportunity to network and see professional development and stay updated on the latest information
038regarding education initiatives and legislation affecting public schools. So again the next county school board association meeting will take place on Tuesday February you say February 5th and it will be virtual. Um in addition to that I would uh remind us that uh I believe there was one of our board meetings either in October or November that a gentleman by the name of Tim McCarthy came before the board and presenting us with a proposal and he was proposing that Township School District create a memorial garden. to be slowly call that. And so I just wanted to bring that back up so that we can have that on our radar discuss that how we're going to address that. And just one other thing here, board members, what we did receive in our packets was the superintendent evaluation
039process. And as we know, as far as evaluations go, there's only one evaluation that we do as a board and that is of our superintendent and I just want to um draw your attention to what we receive the superintendent evaluation process calendar we all see the first section is pretty self-explanatory the second session section which is the superintendent evaluation process and it lists time frames under which we're supposed to take certain actions so the first time frame uh speaks of the board of superintendent evaluation pre-conference session and that's to take place somewhere between February and March and what I have suggested to the board is that for our next meeting which is February 11th that we look through and make decision as to which dates we're going to um complete each of these that leads
040towards leads us up to our evaluation of our Any questions under >> just say you know make it easy for yourself. That's all you say. Okay. [laughter] Um um with regards to the um search for the permanent superintendent that yes information on that permission Mr. President. >> All right. >> Thank you. I just wanted to uh announce that the there has been formed a superintendent search committee um led by Mrs. Pittz. Mits who else is on that committee with you? Mrs. John Shaw and Mr. Michael and that I know uh at the moment they're working on the various options. There's been one consultant that's been brought in. There's some other consultants that are being reviewed. Uh there's also some legal considerations that go into this. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry to interrupt you because Miss
041Martin just reminds me she's absolutely right. She's thinking narrowly. M is also because there's four of us and I'll be counting three of us. >> You should never forget Martin. >> I'll repeat Miss Martin, Mr. Clark, Mr. Shaw, myself. Thank you, M. Martin. So I know the search committee is evaluating various options including various legal considerations that I've been consulted on um by you uh relative to moving forward. I know that the committee is working to develop a timeline that is dependent upon issues that are currently out of the committee's control, but I believe will become crystallized very shortly and will identify and allow the committee to form an appropriate timeline moving forward. So, we're keeping all options open, but it's not as if they're sitting back doing nothing. the the process has actually started
042>> and I just want to remind us all that while we have to form a search committee that that search committee is just that it's a committee of board members we um take the steps to meet and once we decide who we're going to select to direct us then all the decisions are made collectively every single board member will be a part of this whole entire decision making. I just want to be clear that that mysterious certain committee but the real decision made by every outstanding um I'm charged to give u I know I've asked you excellent um report on some of his successes that he had achieved at that point. He had a nice PowerPoint slide. I I don't have that great activity, but I do have a little board report that I want
043to share that um from being here. The Winsow council quarterback has made an overwhelming progress in areas of engagement and continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to listening to the voices of our stakeholders. Recent feedback from the community has reflected a clear sentiment of what you see. We hear you and we appreciate the efforts. A message that affirms the board's intentional focus on transparency, collaboration, and responsiveness. This early and agent forward allow districts to identify needs, provide timely interventions and maintain high academic st standards for student achievement positioning in all students for long-term success through high school and beyond. Governance certificate certification and communication. They have done so far three units. The first unit was on animals and all she talks about in the first mod invertebrates, birds, habitats, all these things. The next unit was on poetry. All of a sudden, this child is writing reading and writing poems, talking about different types of poetry. My aunt asked my kids, "What would you like for Christmas? If you could go anywhere
050you want to go for Christmas, where would you want to go?" This 80-year-old said, You know, I really want to go to ancient Rome because we're learning about Rome and I want to see a coliseum and I want to learn about Julie Caesar and this is what we're teaching them. They are engrossed. They are involved and very excited about them. The last three days, [clears throat] as we know, we've all been home. All they want to do is go back. We missed this. I can't. And it's it's warming my heart just to hear that. So, I do I want to just thank everybody
051and also just want to make sure that you knew what a great program this is and how much has affected her. Thank you. >> Thank you. >> Um, Mr. President, that concludes those that have signed us back. Is there do we have somebody virtually?
