Um uh I don't know if the pressure of the board if we can still rearrange it but I'm just giving you the information that the information you would need to approve

letter B is the discussion on letter F. >> Okay. So we can flip them. Is that what you're asking? or >> or or one >> One after the other. Yes. >> Okay. So, F and then B. >> Yes. >> Okay. Asking for the number. >> Oh, it's 55. >> What's the number for this one? Consider approval of the bar. >> Madame President, I'll ask uh Miss Randy to discuss new bars requests. >> So, we I submitted one bar for approval.

Um it is the carryover for that fund. So, we got it very late in the game. Um but with uh the budget season upon us, I need to try to get it into our budget as soon as possible. Also, I would appreciate if you guys would consider approving. 004fine. >> 5 0 5 2 8 0 5 9 58 try to rely later. >> Yeah. >> Sorry. >> Madame President, members of the board, last uh board meeting, I presented to you the uh priorities for uh the unified application that included the IDP. And part of the asurances that the board will make is that uh we are uh adopting a an updated uh board policy and administrative procedure uh governing our special education services and uh this is done through our partnership with CRC and they contract the walls uh uh legal team and uh you will see the different changes mostly addition additional policies uh to update it to the most current uh legal requirements in the special education service delivery. So um it has already been reviewed by uh Diego's law firm. uh this

is shared with the other schools that uh that partners with CRC including our district and um it's pretty robust and um this really helps the district to stay in compliance with our special education. So I asked the board to approve this uh handbook, special education handbook for 2627 with the changes uh that was proposed by the law firm >> by the law. >> Yes, >> I'll make that motion that we approve. >> Thank you, Kathy. Give me a second. I second. Kathy, yay. And myself. Yay. All right. And B, consider approval of a B application. Madame President, members of the board, the management of JBPS has met with the JBPS um education association um last April and um we have concluded and uh the management your your the management your JVPs management and the union

agreed on article to make revision for article Artle 4, article 19 and article 20. Uh that means ma'am that uh for article 4 it's uh uh for the school year 2627 the certified employee teachers shall work one additional hour per week dedicated for PLC. So this allows right now our PLC is one day a week and mostly it's administrative and things um the the management the administrators will be meeting with the teachers to provide a guidance on the PLC. So there's an additional one day a week PLC. In addition to that uh article uh 19 is that for the 2627 uh the employees will receive an increased percentage total of average of 1%. This is in line with the statute uh uh that the legislation the legislature had just passed and the article 20 is

that this agreement will be in effect through June 30 2029. So we have another 3 years of CBA. >> So I'm very happy to report that uh it was this is not a lengthy process this time. They were able to meet with administrators, the management and the union representation and they have candid conversation and we have a workable three years CBA. Wonderful >> and I ask the board for support and approval. So I I will approve or make a motion to approve. >> Thank you. Second. >> Um >> yay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Capproval of the new JPS CDA. >> Cuz remember we flipped F up to B. >> We already did that >> to the discussion. Yeah. So F and B were connected. >> Oh. Oh. Oh. So >> we're now in the academic

calendar. >> Okay. >> Yes. >> Where does C go? >> So F jumped up um to work with B. >> Yes. >> Oh, okay. I just was keeping going with the with the >> Yeah. Okay. Got it. >> Okay. Um so review and approval of the calendar, academic calendar. >> Yes, ma'am. Uh Madame President, members of the board, um the calendar committee at JBPS facilitated by Miss uh Janice uh had discussions and review of uh our calendar in the past years and also plan for next year. Um they've taken into consideration my scheduled tribal uh activities as well as required number of days for our enrollment including graduation requirement wherein all seniors has to be uh with our district until the end. Um that means that uh we will still have 155 instructional days and

um our school year academic school year will start the day after the hemis uh uh hemisphable uh it already uh anticipates uh this calendar for next year already anticipated possible uh school closure about uh because of weather. >> So this will sustain us >> God forbid you know long long uh weather conditions but uh we should be good with our number of days with this calendar and we will continue to end the school year um by by May. So we're not going beyond June either. >> Yeah. and we start August to June and it will also have the parent teachers conference and uh >> no virtual days >> so it's all uh in person days of course >> question do we usually leave graduation off until we get closer is that what I remember okay

>> true because they have the the class can decide what days the only requirement now is that they have to be enrolled or they have to be in attendance for the actual academic year. >> Yeah. So unless and unless you know now that there is a new rule we can also consider uh after discussion if we can also set our graduation formally >> that you know we can decide as a board that we're going to set the graduation date >> and uh in the meantime um for this year um I haven't met with the juniors yet so Um I know this is the second year and next year will be the second year that they would be graduating out uh after the academic year and um I will also review the different dates of graduation.

Uh I will be I will be informed this year how the other high school are scheduling the graduation. then I would be able to present to the board a more uh consistent base of graduation. Um but for now, Madame President, um I would give it uh some leeway to decide whether they want to do it on the last day or on the weekend. >> Sure. >> Uh maybe waiting. >> Yeah. And also this year is our first Friday. >> Yeah. So we'll see how Okay. Can I get a motion for the calendar? >> Motion. >> Thank you. >> Second. >> I will second. >> Kathy. >> Yay. >> Glendo. >> Okay. So, we're on E now. Next. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. School Boards Association policy service program for KPS. Madame President, members of the

board, I I shared with you a uh uh a sample or a draft agreement with the New Mexico School Board Association. This is in conformity with your directive the last time to uh engage with the New Mexico School Board to see how they can support us with reviewing and updating our uh policy. It also attached also is the uh service agreement as to what kind of services they are willing to provide us for next school year for your consideration and approval. >> Any questions? >> Questions? >> I do not. >> Can I get a motion to approve? >> I'll make a motion to approve. >> And a second. I will second. >> Thank you, Linda. >> Yay. >> And myself. Yay. >> Okay. Are we missing anything? >> No. Unless you want to discuss any

>> finally went there. Hello. >> Hey. >> Hello. Can you hear us? >> On speaker on speaker. >> Hello. >> Can you hear me? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Can you hear us? >> Yeah. >> I don't know what's going on with the phone. >> Yeah.
